  1. Hello all, just wanted to go through some things regarding the fans and the controllers, what I noticed and what helped. Error: Missing controller No. 1 1. Error is caused if you have more than 1 controller in use for more than 5 fans. a. Ensure your first controller has 5 fans plugged in to the first controller. Having 4 or less plugged in will prevent the daisy chain from working. b. Like the instructions provided in the box, ensure each daisy chain is set properly on the switches so the software sees no duplicate controller. Power capabilities. 1. Controller uses a 4 pin power connection. a. Ensure you have enough power connectors available for multiple fan controllers, each hub powers 5 fans. Programmable hubs. 1. Don't have enough USB 2.0 ports in your motherboard? a. Plug in the USB 2.0 cable from the fan controller to the motherboard, use the software on your desktop to configure the light settings you prefer, save it on the profile you want. Once the settings have been saved, unplug the USB 2.0 cable from the motherboard. Once they are set, the fan controllers will continue to use those presets. ---------- If anyone has other tips, please post a reply, or if these tips helped, let me know.
