  1. hi Mike, The PSU has built in microcontroller unit that can collect the power supply status, including output voltage, output current, fan speed, and so on. basically, the readings of power supply status are available because of the unit. on the other hand, the CPU and VGA card information can be read only if motherboard and VGA cards provide such the information. but sometimes it will support the CPU & VGA monitoring after updating the software.
  2. hi Mike, due to the different design upon mother board and VGA cards, some of the CPU and VGA readings might not be available. we will keep updating the software to support as many mother boards and VGA cards as possible.
  3. Hi Mike, Are you saying the DPS G PC App was working before you updated Windows? regarding to the error code you provided, the C++ package is not completely installed. Can you uninstall the C++ Redistributable package and reinstall that again? and make sure you install the the file "vc_redist.x86.exe"
  4. Hi Mike, can you provide the specification of your system (before and after upgrade)? and it seems like the Visual C++ Redistributable needs to upgrade to latest version. https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48145 please let me know if the problem is solved after upgrading C++ package.
  5. hi, Unfortunately, we current do not have the plans to offer development kit. we will take your suggestion to our team to see if we can offer it in the future.
  6. Hi, Please connect the USB cable to the internal USB port on motherboard. check the photo below: (please note that make sure the USB header is in right direction)
  7. Hi, based on the given spec, the total power consumption of your build is about 300W. (not sure if you have install any other devices) then 500W or above power supply will be a good fit.
  8. Hi, can you provide the model name of your motherboard? so i can specifically point out the internal USB port to you.
  9. hi, Can you check if you power supply is connected with motherboard via usb cable?
  10. hi, May I ask what PSU model do you have? Toughpower DPS G RGB 750W Gold or Toughpower Grand RGB 750W Gold?
  11. Hi, Can you try running the installation as administrator?
  12. hi, you can short the PS-ON(green wire) and ground (black wire) with paper clip to check if the power supply operates normally. please make sure the power is not connected to any other devices when turning on the power. here is the ATX 24 pinout for your reference:
  13. Hi, I would recommend to send the psu unit and all the cables to RMA because the issue might be caused by the cables. however, you can still directly contact our customer service to see if you would like to return only the unit or everything including the cables. I am not sure where you are located. here is the contact for customer service in USA: USA Support email: ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com USA Technical Support: 800-988-1088 Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 5:30PM (P.S.T) please let me know if you need the customer service contact in any other region.
  14. can you please try connecting the PSU to rear USB port with a mini USB cable?
  15. With Core P5, you can actually install the power supply vertically and show off the fan without using extension cables. see the photo below:
