When mouse in wireless mode sometimes cursor "freezed", moving with jerks/ If I place mouse near than 50cm from receiver "freezeing" will be smaller or disappear (mouse fully charged). Hey piter, if you just bought it 2 days ago, I strongly recommend you to go to the store and ask them to check for you and ask for a replacement.
