Power supply problem

Hi all, I'm new here, I recently bought a power supply. Thermaltake TR2 430 watt  ATX power supply. I see there is multiple outputs at different voltages. All I need this power supply to do is power an old  pc 5.25 floppy drive, I was using the 4 pin output. There is no voltage coming off this connector. Do you have plug in the 20 pin connector to a computer to make the other outputs work? Is there any way to make this work, or do I have to buy a different power supply? If I have to buy a different one which model  can I use to power a 4 pin floppy drive only? Thanks for any help.

wcrm,

Welcome to the Tt Community!

If you want to use an axillary PSU, you need to jumper the 24-pin to turn the PSU on to get output.

Thermaltake has a Dual 24-pin adapter:

There are other methods to do this, just be safe!
