I agree from what they say. Software is very lacking, it is also buggy, bad and needs more customizations. I hope we get to see updates from time to time but still they are no updates since Sept. ... I really want to create some profiles that when you click the illuminated key and then it will change into a different color one.

Hi, I have issue on my software. see this image.

Please send me your software? so i can customize my color properly?

Hi, if you're having a US layout, please make sure you choose ENGLISH (US) for the language when you firstly installed the software.

As what I can see there is that you've chose UK instead of US...because the layout you're showing is our UK layout :)

Please reinstall the software and choose the correct language :)

Do the software have the idle customization? when the keyboard is idle for how many second or minutes, it will change the color effect or something? do you have future plan for that?

For now, you can only pulse it and make the pulse slower  OR you can do the spectrum running under FULLY LIGHTED and reduce the speed, it will change the colors slowly :)

This is the one I need too, is there a future plan for this?

If we can just get a software to run like how Corsair does. You would then have the cheapest Keyboard on the market that can do such things with the lighting effects/ and being Mechanical. Have had mine for about 6 months now, have had no further issues since the update. Profiles apply fine, lights don't stay on like some others are experiencing. Switches are holding up great. (these are Blues btw) I work in a office environment, and my keyboard is heavily used by myself, and others interested in Mechanical keyboards.

I do agree though, only downside to this keyboard is the limitations to the lighting profiles.. If you could do like the "Idle" effect where after so long, keyboard will switch to a different profile that you made/chose. Being able to do animation like the Corsair does, would make this keyboard the best for its money, and would instantly buy a few more for myself, and would highly recommend it to my work buddies who are also into Mechanical keyboards.

The idle effects would look great to leave the keyboard at work for others to walk by and watch it do its thing/things. ;)
Hope the 2016 Update brings a new light on this keyboard, have a feeling it will be like a whole new board afterwards.

Keep it up Thermaltake!!! :D

So is there a way to turn off the backlight when it idles? Because when my computer is off and my cat pushes one of my keys, my keyboard just stays on forever like a nightlight.

No, unless you choose the REACTIVE effect :)

Just bought mine last night. Totally going to add some colour profiles here soon. If Tt are listening, we could really do with a reactive mode that isn't dark by default (So have a base layer that you can set and a reactive layer when you touch the keys). I hope they are working on this and loading time (well I'd be happy if 'APPLY' didnt write to the board so it's faster, only when clicking 'OK').

Fallout V1 Profile

I really wanted to add in a pip boy scan line on the right but the light bleed from the bright green made it look bad.

0 - + are red for you to load aid into.

I hope I can upload my .prof soon as I would prefer it to having to link to my mediafire acc.

Edit 1: Made the green brighter (255)

Nice profile! and thanks for the suggestion!

Also, if you want to have a brighter green, you can adjust the Green to 255, Red 0, Blue 0, then you'll get a brighter green :)

Basic FPS V1

A simple first person colour layout with all other keys lit with a dull white (so every key is readable in low light).

Tip: Middle mouse button samples key colour in the program but will actually sample off (black) as r=30 g=30 b=30 which is a dull grey/white. You have to enter zero for all values then click each key (or drag select) to get keys back to off.

Another software issue Tt is that the text/number boxes for the colours are TERRIBLE! Can't paste colour codes in, can't actually type into the 'Colour Code' box AT ALL! The other boxes reset too quickly as well making typing into them a total pain.
