hello  :)

- "hi! tha last day, we see our new reservoir   "

yes! but we keep the Thermaltake reservoir too

16121011575422246614698224.jpg

- "the goal of the game is to get inside one another...."

16121011575522246614698225.jpg

no 36 solutions....

- "we need to cut the bottle"

16121011575622246614698226.jpg

we can see quite a lot of ways to realize the cutting of the bottle  ;)

- "we choose this way  :)"

we took rope and a bottle of alcohol to burn

16121011575722246614698227.jpg

- "we wrap the rope around the bottle"

at the cutting point  :)

- "we did three laps because our rope tended to go out too fast"

16121011575822246614698228.jpg

we make a knot....

16121011575922246614698229.jpg

.... and we cut the extra

16121011580022246614698230.jpg

- "then, now, we remove the rope"

16121011580122246614698231.jpg

we put some alcohol on a small container....

16121011580222246614698232.jpg

- "and we let the rope soak the time it soaks well  :) "

16121011580322246614698233.jpg

during this time we fill a larger container of cold water

16121011580422246614698234.jpg

- "we put the rope back on the bottle"

we wipe off excess alcohol

16121011580522246614698235.jpg

we ignite the rope

- "at this time it is necessary to turn the bottle on itself so that the heat is distributed on all the turn  :) "

16121011580722246614698236.jpg

when the flame goes out....

16121011580922246614698237.jpg

- "....we must quickly plunge the bottle into cold water"

to create a thermal shock

- "and at this moment we have to ear a little sound..."

16121011581122246614698238.jpg

meaning the cutting of the bootle

16121011581322246614698239.jpg

the cut is not always as clear as we hope....

- "we needed to repeat the operation on other bottles ..."

in order to achieve the expected result

- "and you had to drink all that wine     "

no comment....

16121011581522246614698240.jpg

but there may be some worries when playing with fire .... is not it Xray....

- "oh yes.....  my finger will not contradict you.....

16121011581722246614698241.jpg

now we can plunge the bootle on the Pacific reservoir  :)

-  "yes !!!!"

16121011584722246614698242.gif

to the next time!

hello  :)

- "hello! today we take care of graphics cards!"

16121210310322246614703982.jpg

we receive the new Thermaltake waterblock for this Strix

16121210310422246614703983.jpg

- "so first we have to remove the original heatsink"

there are 6 screw fixing it

- "yes! four with the GPU and two others for the mosfets"

16121210310622246614703984.jpg

- "and hop the heatsink can be removed"

16121210310822246614703985.jpg

first step accomplished

16121210311022246614703986.jpg

- "well! we continue removing others screws...."

16121210311222246614703987.jpg

- "fixing the backplate"

16121210311422246614703988.jpg

- "we take the instructions for use "

16121210311622246614703989.jpg

we need to place the thermal pads on the memory chips and mosfets

- "Thermaltake has the good idea to provide a set of pads sufficient to reiterate the operation  :) "

16121210311822246614703990.jpg

- "It remains only to put the thermal paste on the gpu"

16121210312122246614703991.jpg

as you see, we have to put some white spacer on some locations

16121210312422246614703992.jpg

- "we need 7 screws to fix the waterblock on the graphic card"

we begin with the GPU

16121210312622246614703993.jpg

first one....

16121210313022246614703995.jpg

- "and the other one  "

16121210313222246614703996.jpg

we finish them with the Thermaltake backplate  :)

16121210312822246614703994.jpg

- "but these backplate no fit with our theme based on wine cooling....  "

so we took a wooden board from a bottle box for wine  :)

16121210313322246614703997.jpg

- "we cut it to the dimensions of the backplate"

16121210313422246614703998.jpg

- "we will bring him the little touch that sticks to the theme"

for that, we use our plotter....

- "in order to realize our stencil"

16121210313622246614703999.jpg

transfering it on the wooden board

16121210313822246614704000.jpg

- "some black paint later...."

16121210313922246614704001.jpg

- "we begin removing the outer side of the stencil  :) "

16121210314122246614704002.jpg

we continue on one side....

16121210314322246614704003.jpg

- "and voilà !!!  :P "

16121210314522246614704004.jpg

other wooden board???

- "of course! for the second graphic card  :) "

16121210314622246614704005.jpg

same stencil?

- "yes"

16121210314822246614704006.jpg

- "always pay attention during the transfer so that all the details remain in place"

16121210315022246614704007.jpg

- "camouflage session for the rest of the wooden board before painting"

16121210315222246614704008.jpg

we have added a signature in relation to the previous model  :P

16121210360522246614704039.gif

- "and we add some details on the edges  :) "

16121210320922246614704016.jpg

then we finish with this graphic cards

- "cool!"

16121210321122246614704017.jpg

see you soon

hello  :)

- "coucou!"

after the graphic cards, we have the motherboard also...

- "the maximus formula VIII is already well prepared"

especially with its fairing

16121210335822246614704023.jpg

- "more we can see a backlight placed in two locations"

16121210340022246614704024.jpg

but the ROG theme not fit with our theme....

- "and we want to have a more neutral color on this fairing"

more black....

- "all black  :P "

16121210340222246614704025.jpg

we do not stop in such good way!

- "yes! we continue in the customisation"

the name of this mod is Wine Cooling....

- "so we take a little piece of aluminium with a wood veneer"

and we begin cutting the first letters

16121210340422246614704026.jpg

- "a bit later...."

16121210340622246614704027.jpg

- "...we tweak the cutting lines"

16121210340722246614704028.jpg

and....

- "tadaaaa  B) "

tadaaaa???

- "yes! tadaaaa like drum roll  :P "

16121210340822246614704029.jpg

- "we make two little holes...."

and fix spacers

16121210340922246614704030.jpg

bye bye Maximus VIII....

- "welcome Wine Cooling!"

16121210341022246614704031.jpg

next?

- "the cover of the chipset heatsink"

with the ROG logo...

- "indeed, so we take a llittle plate aluminium"

16121210341122246614704032.jpg

as the "Wine Cooling", we fix a wood veneer on it

16121210341222246614704033.jpg

and we choose a new logo!

- "yes, and what is the best logo in relation to wine?"

a bottle  :)

- "better! three glasses of wine  :P "

16121210341722246614704034.jpg

- "so we take advantage of the backlight coming from the heat sink"

nice!

16121210341922246614704036.jpg

other modification?

- "no, it's all"

16121210342022246614704037.jpg

motherboard is ready?

- "quite.... we will solder some wires on its internal face to hide some plugs  ;) "

see you

On dirait vraiment les fûts que l'on peut trouver dans certains chai en France. Ce projet est vraiment impressionnant plein de détails !! C'est du vrai carrelage derrière ?

It looks like barrels that can be found in some cellars in France. This project is really impressive full of details !! This is real tile behind?
