sr.chimo
Hello Everyone, my name is Simón Zambrano (a.k.a. Sr.Chimo). Im a youtuber, modder and techie from Ecuador (a tiny little country in South America). I started modding about 5 years ago. I love to experiment with unusuall materials to build nice mods. I was selected to be part of this season so I will do my best to build an awesome computer.¿What am I gonna build?Right now I dont want to reveal the secret so ill give just a little spoiler: Using the Thermaltake Core X71 Im planning to do a "Dark" build based on a Series that even it is preaty new, I belive its now part of the Pop Culture. My build will mostly emphasize on clean paintjob, tubbing and lightining. If you want to know a lillte more about me, here are the links to my web and social media. sr.chimo
Dear Tt Community, Im happy to announce that my hardware arrived today, i will start to post more pictures by this weekend and all the progress I make. Now that the game has officially started for me I can tell you that my inspiration will be STRANGER THINGS and I am aiming for a Dark & Spooky "DEMOGORGON MOD". See ya soon people!! EDIT: Beacause I'm unpredictable, once I got to buy the paint I fell in love with a couple colors and I decided to change completely my mod for STRANGER THINGS to ILLIDARY from World of Warcraft. Yes I know, you are not suppose to cahge your mind in the middle of the project, but I'm like that!
sr.chimo
With all the hardware in my hands, I started to build up my concept. My first step is to find out how am I gonna set up the pump/reservoir combos and what modifications I need in the MOBO area to get the clean look im aiming for. As always, Lyra the Kitten is helping me get things ready.

sr.chimo
First step of the modding was all about taking apart the case to be able to sand it and then apply the white primer. I used two layers of primer to get the a smooth surface to paint.

sr.chimo
Once the Primer was completely dry and sanded was time to start painting. I used Car paint in two diferent collors giving 2 layers of paint and 2 layers of shiny lacquer. I want to give a big shout out to La MOTO for helping me with that process and teaching me how to paint like a pro!

sr.chimo
The paint has dry and now is time to start building up the computer and getting the watercooling blocks and rads up for the tubing bending process
sr.chimo
Due to the fact that the top radiator is too big I could not install fittings on the mobos chipset so I had to skip that part of the loop
sr.chimo
Last part of the process was to assambly the waterblock in the GPUs.
BuschyX
I'm voting for this one based on the colour scheme.
sr.chimo
To keep up with the work, It was time to start building up the loop, since I had the parts to build 2 diferent loops I made one for the GPUs and one for the CPU

sr.chimo
Once the full loop was built I made some minor changes to fix some weird looking tubes (pic before the fixing) SgtT8ie
