RIING Fans and Digital PSU both require usb 2.0 connection?

I am finally getting the final pieces for my new build (Ryzen motherboards were backordered forever), and I realize that my brand new Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero only has one usb 2.0 connection on the motherboard itself (along with one 3.0 and one 3.1). Both the Riing Plus Premium fans AND the toughpower DPS G series that I've purchased from Thermaltake require a usb 2.0 connection.

Is it abnormal that a high end motherboard only have one of these? Are there any "splitters" or anything that would allow me to plug both into this one port?

I know I could get a usb 3.0--->2.0 adaptor but then that means I will not be able to plug in any of my front facing case usb ports. Not the end of the world but not ideal....
