Greetings,

Are the LED strips in the pacific lumi PLUS able to be connected to the controller that the riing PLUS packs come with?  The controller for each looks identical, and both use the same software, but I haven't been able to find much info at all about the lumi PLUS.  Mostly been finding lumi 256 color.  Thank you.

Hi,

The Lumi Plus LED strip pack include a controller with the strips and all that you need for it to be standalone or tied together with other TT Plus products. One thing to mention, when you are using more than 1 strip on the same port/line you will have to use the controller that comes with the LED strips for it to function. Other Plus products can plug into it and work just the same. There is a unique feature with the Lumi plus controller when linking multiple LED strips together so the animation "goes throughout" all the strips, so yea, please use the controller for the Lumi plus with the lumi plus strips.

Side note, if you mobo supports +5V RGB LED header out, you can also plug them in there and control it with the MB software that is supported. Just make sure you dont put it to a +12V port or the strip will not like you :P
