Hi Guys Ok it is time for some small update/information what my mod will be all about. As you all know I will be using TT Core x5 case for this build. The case will be modified in couple of ways. First of all the case will be flipped and it will be standing on the front where are the O/I post The front will be modified by adding the "feet" to make hole for air intake as well as for the additional lightning potions. In this part will be also mounted the PSU so I will take advantage of the original dust filter. Next thing which I will made is the at the top let say "top cover" from a plexi. It will be playing a dual role. First of all it will cover all of the cables and form a coherent whole with the X5. Secondly it will contain illuminated Eagle logo with the project name in "3d" effect. Here is an quick "sketch" to only show you what I am talking about What's more the next thing which I am going to do is to cut the whole where on the original top of the case were the ventilation area. I those holes I will make two custom rezerwuar which will be housing two types of fluids I will also cut holes for the filports for easy filling the loops. A lot of you were asking me why I need two X5 cases. So mainly for modding perseus because I need to get a lot of parts from the second case to make it work for my project for example double window panels, mounting brackets for dual 360 rads and much more It will be more and more modifications in future some planded an some which will appear in process of creation and I will definitely cover all of them here. P.S Sorry for pore photos but I just get back from the long journey to my family house and I made the photos when it was dark.

2016 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2 - The White Eagle Hello All So it is time to unveil some more details about my build. As I maintend before it will be focused on white and red color shema with some touches of other colors as well. The name of my project is The White Eagle which is all about my country National Emblem and the eagle within it as which has pretty interest history (legend). Oh I see that you decided to make custom mobtray just like I am in my build Good choice

Today day pass me on further drilling and submission mobtray together, tomorrow I will get the rest of the screws and a newly purchased band saw, which will help me on very precise cuting and modding of parts Drilling, milling and grinding holes Well, the whole pre put together, tomorrow I need to measure and cut-out openings for cables and of course the drilling the holes for distance to the motherboard.

Well, today started with a new mobtray First try-on "dry" and unfortunately I photograph myself Then the time for drilling and fitting brackets: Pozycjonowanie względem mobtray And the first part of work is done, next are the next trying inside the case to be sure where to drill fixing holes in case.

Hi Guys thanks for kind words But DJ Bill Bass back to your question for my renders i'm using the Google SketchUp with addition plugin installed to export project to Kerkythea where I made all the texturing and rendering Here is a link to the plugin for it: http://www.kerkythea.net/cms/index.php/downloads I also decided to make a completely new mobo tray for 3mm aluminum to cover all of the length on the case and the parts for it are already here:

Today, a lot of work but the laborious where there was a lot of measuring, drilling, grinding, and the results quite modest but the whole thing is slowly taking shape

After drilling, cutting, bending, etc. Rear panel pre-assembled, only you need to be cut for the rear I / O panel for the motherboard and gpu. Hi @DJ Bill Bass Let me answer your questions 1)I do not strip the original paint from X71 but I use sandpaper and quite some time to smooth the surface of the case. Then I spray the undercoat gray paint paint about 2 lawyers and smooth it one more time with sand paper but with higher gradation. After this I put 3-4 layers of white paint (RAL 9003). 2)I want to use them instead of making bends where it is possible. But the final layout of tubing will probably change a little bit 3) I not able to tell you the exact name because those are from my trusted suppliers here in Poland where it is called "Deluxe SHD sleeve" Part of them is made by my and part is made by my colleague to save some time. 4) There is no brand for them they are CNC cutte. I have plans to build in future my own CNC milling machine to be able make the faster. 5) The front panel is a piece of 3mm clear plexi, then on to of it I laser cut the special white and green foil. The text Ever Green will be ligheted as well but the LEDs P.S If you will have more question in future feel free to ask. Here is a new power plant for the system And I also equipped themselves with Dremel DSM20 to be able finish modding the case even faster now.
