"Anti-Ghosting" means you can type different keys at the same time and your computer can recognize all the keys you type.
For more information you can check the Microsoft explanation here:
What is the problem?"Ghosting" is the problem that some keyboard keys don't work when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously. The key presses that don't show up on the computer or seem to have disappeared are said to have been "ghosted". On most keyboards, even some that are explicitly marketed as "Anti-Ghosting," this happens with many three key combinations. Imagine playing your favorite video game and not being able to, say, run diagonally and fire your weapon at the same time (say pressing a, w, and g simultaneously). This is a result of the internal design of most existing keyboards, as will be explained below. What causes ghosting?Typically, ghosting is the result of one or more of following three limitations: the hardware can't read the given key combination, the software on the computer doesn't support multiple simultaneous keys, or the communication protocol between the hardware and software limits the maximum number of simultaneous keys reported. The next section discusses in more detail the hardware design of typical keyboards that limits the number of keys that can be read at the same time. Why wouldn't keyboard hardware be able to read some keys? Most keyboards are made of a stack of plastic sheets printed with silver ink in a grid of column and row wires, initially unconnected, underneath the keys. A key press can then be detected as a connection made between a particular pair of column and row wires from the pressure of the key above it.Pressing One Key
Note: The wiring under these keys has been simplified for instructional purposesTypically, when the keyboard looks to see what key is pressed, it looks at each column wire, one at a time, and sees which row wires are connected, or shorted, to it. When only one key is pressed, there will be exactly one column wire which when examined will have any row wires shorted, and then, exactly one row wire. This pattern uniquely identifies which key was pressed; there is only one contact point that could cause these test results.Pressing Two Keys(Different Rows and Columns)
When two keys are pressed simultaneously, again, the keyboard will look at each column wire to see which row wires are connected to it. When the rows and columns are both different between the two keys, there will be two column wires that each produce one row wire short, and those row wires will not be the same. This can only happen with one set of key presses, so the keyboard can report exactly which keys are down.Pressing Two Keys(Same Column)
When the two key presses share a column, the key presses can again be determined with certainty. A test pass for shorts will show only one column wire being connected to any row wires, and that wire will be connected to exactly two rows. Similarly, when the two keys share a row, the pattern will be that each of two column will show a single row connection, and both will be the same row. This, too, can only happen for one set of depressed keys for a given pattern of shorts. In fact, any set of collinear contacts can be uniquely determined.Collinear Simultaneous Key Patterns Are Distinct
Pressing Three Keys(Shared Rows And Columns)
However, when three keys are pressed, it is not necessarily true that the keys producing the pattern of shorts can be uniquely determined. For instance, when the three keys share both a row and a column, there are five different sets of keys that each would produce the same pattern of shorts: the same two columns each connected to the same two rows. (Notice that in the above example, the connected column on the right is shorted to the upper of the two connected rows by way of all three contacts; in fact, the circuit includes a div class="asContentParagraph" of the connected column wire on the left). The five different sets of key presses that produce the same pattern of shorts as illustrated above are illustrated below.Indistinguishable Key Presses
Remember, the typical keyboard just checks if a column is connected to a row. The number of contacts it must travel through don't add up, becoming "more connected" as more connections are added. The keyboard just sees the presence or absence of a connection, making the above patterns indistinguishable. When this happens, that the pattern is ambiguous, the typical keyboard stops reporting new key presses to avoid reporting the wrong keys. We call these unreported key presses, "ghosted."Not all sets of simultaneous keys larger than two are ambiguous (for instance, the example given earlier of collinear keys). Usually, keyboards will report as many unambiguous keys as they can. However, the standard reporting protocol limits the number of simultaneous keys to six QWERTY keys plus the modifiers (such as shift, control, and alt). Some anti-ghosting keyboards are able to report additional keys beyond this either by using a custom reporting protocol designed with an increased limit or by sending additional reports for combinations of large numbers of keys. However, both of these solutions pose problems. The use of a custom protocol may not function properly prior to loading the operating system, such as when the computer is booting or when an operating system is being installed. A keyboard like this may require switching between protocols to support states when the custom protocol can't be used. In contrast, sending multiple reports allows the keyboard to remain usable when the computer is in these states. However, because, the computer's keyboard software was not designed to be used in this manner, there is a potential for unexpected behavior by the software receiving the multiple reports instead of a single report when large numbers of simultaneous keys are pressed. -
If you have a TT product, a lot of the software is out of date, the drivers break the products, I have only had this proven on the TT esports challenger gaming keyboard and black v2 mouse.
Please if any TT dev is reading update your software or fix this. Thanks.
(Last thing for the mouse was win 8, we up to 10
)Thanks for your advise. We've aware of the software problem and will improve the software performance.

Could you try it on the other computer?
We also has some hotkeys on the keyboard, if the hotkey works then you may need to find a solution from Windows system
Or you can contact our customer service here: http://my.ttesports.com/ctGeneral.aspx

Does it happen on the other computer?

Yea the mouse itself, finalmouse just released a mouse called the scream one which had this issue I think with all the buttons they said they needed to come out with a firmware update for "anti-ghosting" of the buttons, basically meaning if one button is pressed the others will not work, on the ventus r however its just the middle button if you hold it down the other buttons "mouse1" "mouse2" will not work. Which actually causes issues in some games.
On a side note I received an email today from support saying a firmware release has been released that will fix the LOD issue, I sign on quick as possible to find out no update exists.. my firmware is current at 1.08, very disappointing. Also some bit about returning the mouse to get another one lol I am very clear in my email that this is a real issue with every ventus r.
Besides tt David on this forum who seems to really try to help, thermaltakes support seems to be very lazy and they use misdirection to pacify their customers. It's very sad that a business would be so unwilling to fix an issue with a product they sell, Imagine starting a mouse company and spending months developing a mouse. Then selling it and getting horrible feedback and being the guy to say "lets just keep selling them like this who cares?" Now I know thermaltake isn't a mouse company and they have other avenues but the mentality is the same. I personally would do ANYTHING in my power to fix the problem same-day or as soon as humanly possible.. Maybe as a respect thing or just having basic morals and actual "care" for the product I'm producing.
I'll give it a few more days then I'm returning the mouse, but not before making a review and as it sits the review will not help the sales of this mouse of any other mouse from thermaltake. On the flip side if the engineer is fixing the issue this could mean a very good review. We'll see.
We have a new version on the command center: http://www.ttesports.com/files/Product_download/ttesportscommandcenterv10230.rar
But it didn't seem to be fixed the Ventus R issue. We will try to follow up the software update with the engineer and hopefully they can do it faster.

Hi,
I have emailed info@thermaltake.de and sent a message via http://my.ttesports.com/ctGeneral.aspxas http://my.ttesports.com/csWarranty.aspx didn't have a contact form.
After 2 weeks I still haven't received an answer. Please advise.
Kind regards,
Alex.
Hi Alex,
Could you please message your contact information so I can pass it to our customer service center and follow up for you?

Could you please try it on the other computer? We haven't heard this problem from our customer before so more details would be appreciated

I can also confirm the middle mouse button bug causes ghosting between the other buttons, this issue should be fixed as well. Maybe you can kill two birds with one stone.
I'd like to make sure "the other buttons" means the buttons on the mouse or keyboard?

Sounds like your engineer is thinking you are talking about the LOD being too low or too high, which is not the case at all, the lift off distance is actually perfect, however the lag is a whole different matter and I doubt the setting of the sensor has anything to do with it, I'm 99.9% sure this is fixable through firmware as there is some bug causing a delay. Why make a product with a severe issue and not try your hardest to fix it? this has been reported on multiple forums and reviews, Maybe hire a new engineer? I don't know but fix the issue or quit making mice honestly. Ripping people off without putting on the box "this mouse has lag issues when lifting it off the pad" is just bad business especially when someone could fix the problem if effort was put into it.
Really thanks for the suggestion. We will fix the software bug asap.

Hello... It's me... I was wondering if this software will ever become something worth using. When I first bought this keyboard i was very excited because of all of it's features and lightning effects. Then I installed the software and I tried to lie myself that it was an early version and that it would be updated. And it was updated. To another Bos Taurus defecation. I was very hyped for this update and developers said it would be cool, but man, you added some buggy and limited light tweaking. The keyboard is just amazing, I'm in love with it. But the software can be so much more... I will say it, I will say the taboo word. Razer synapse for chroma keyboards is amazing and open source so people can create their own stuff and contribute to community. You will say "then if you like razer, buy a razer, dude'', but no, i like your keyboard and i want people to buy it. But right now, with the software it has, I would sadly not recommend to buy it. So please, I'm not the only one asking, make this world better, make this software awesome.
Sincerely, a fan that loves you.
Very thanks for your support. In the next year we will have a new RGB keyboard and new software that fix all these problems.

Yes this is a real issue that needs to be fixed, I've tried over 20 top gaming mice and I personally like the ventus R's shape the best. I will however be returning it very soon if this issue isn't being fixed, I was going to review this mouse on youtube and make sure you guys sold alot more but then noticing this LOD lag ruined it for me entirely. Can you get a fix for this within the next week? The issue is when initiating the sensor, or inbetween "un-initiating" and initiating it lags at this moment unlike anyother mouse. Easily detected if you hover the mouse around the minimum LOD and move it around. So on swipes and repositionings of the mouse it will lag and your shot will be off (cursor will jump) etc etc. If this issue didn't exist I'd declare this ventus r the best mouse on the market I'd personally try to get your sales up. But waiting years for a firmware fix I'll no longer have the mouse to be able to do so. Can you get this to your engineer and get us some feedback if it's going to be fixed? emailing support doesn't seem to get any answers.
I've discussed with our engineer about it. We're afraid that the question is caused by the setting of the sensor, if we want to change the setting we may need to discuss with the sensor supplier
