I'm planning to build a gaming PC with fully synced RGB lighting and I'm capable of assembling a custom fan controller which I'll use to control TT Riing fans' color programmatically. The only question is, what will I violate (if I do) by doing so? I mean, is the protocol actually proprietary and I'm not allowed to reverse engineer it and build custom controllers, or is it simply 'not-open-source'?
Floe Riing RGB 240 TT Premium Edition sync with Mystic Light

TT Sync controller seems to support this and it would be extremely lame if the controller which comes with the Floe Riing RGB 240 TT Premium Edition (oh, that's a long name) didn't. TT Riing Plus RGB sees it and controls the fans, the pump and the LEDs ok, however, none of that is recognized by MSI Mystic Light software. So is it actually possible to control this cooler's RGB with Mystic Light?
