  1. Have you tried running the fans on the cooler with the 5 port controller that runs with Thermaltake's software? If they won't light up on there either I would then RMA the fans. Which unfortunately means trying to contact support.

  3. Unfortunately their customer service is atrocious. When I initially had issues I emailed them twice and left two voicemails in a week. Then I came on the forums and posted about my issue and finally was answered by their main forum support ThermalMike. He doesn't seem to be as active on here as he used to be, though. What do you still have a question on; If the ASUS cable will work with your ASRock board? RGB header cables are most commonly found in two flavors; 12V and 5V. The TT Sync controller is rated for 5V RGB headers. So as long as the cable is for a 5V header and the header on your ASRock board is a 5V one, I can't imagine any issues occuring. Though it would ultimately be up to ASRock to determine this, as you are wanting to use it on their motherboard.

  5. Same goes for me. The software was working flawlessly for me for versions 1.4-1.2.51. Updated last night and it crashed. I only tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and it still caused me to crash. I did not try deleting the AppData folder it makes because I did not want to lose my settings. I simply reinstalled an older version I still have the installer for. Though it is a couple revisions back as I've just been letting the application update. I guess from here on out I will have to make sure to grab an installer of the application for each update to ensure I can revert back to a recent version should a new one prove problematic.

  7. Unfortunately, I do not see that controller listed in their store. You would be best off contacting customer support and see about getting a replacement controller.
  8. You could setup a scheduled task to restart the service every time you boot and/or login. Then you wouldn't have to do it yourself
  9. Sorry, I forgot about this thread. Yes, your PWM cables will nead to go to motherboard headers and the fan speeds will be regulated by your BIOS. The RGB header cable needs to go to a 5V header.

  12. I would start an RMA with them. They should only require you to send in the single defective fan.
  13. Yes. The second link is for fans that are the same type that came with your AIO cooler. They will match aesthetically and will also have the same type of 5 port controller. You will then be able to control both of them inside Thermaltake's software.
  14. Interesting. That sounds like an oversight on the programming side of things. They must not have anticipated their audience to have computers that they share with others.
  15. I believe the regular Riing fans use a different version of the software. They also don't have individually addressable LEDs like those included in your cooler, thus making them not compatible in the sense that you won't be able to synchronize the lights together in the software. I would recommend you send back the Riing fans and purchase a 3 pack of the Riing Plus fans, as that is the type of fan that came with the cooler.
  16. Did you try 5 working fans on the Sync controller again, without the alleged defective one? I would do that first to ensure your Sync controller is in working order. Then I would open an RMA for the bad fan.

Being the 9 port TT Sync controller doesn't officially have a way to chain multiple together it would be interesting if the 3 port controller, being motherboard software controlled, would then allow chaining to 5 port hubs and control of all those devices. It may allow the control of more than 9 devices, via motherboard software, without shady workarounds. I'll be interested in what they have to say.
  18. Thermaltake has a newer power cable for their controllers that have a resistor built in that should fix the issue. If you contact support and give them the serial number of your product(s) they will ship you what you need, free of charge.
  19. The Floe Riing 360mm and the 3 fan pack will each come with a 5 port controller. You can daisy-chain up to 16 of these controllers together and control them via Thermaltake's software. The controllers have dip switches on the back to set the controller number, but I would think Cyberpower should have everything setup for you. You can add the Riing Trio fans, as all of their addressable RGB products come with the same 5 port controller. Though Thermaltake always advices to use the controller the product comes with. This is due to the newer addressable products usually having a controller with some updated software built in.
  20. I can't see any reason why they would plug into the 9 port sync controller but not the 5 port controller. Perhaps he bought the 9 port controller because the included 3 button controller allows motherboard software control of lighting but only supports up to 3 addressable devices? But with how screwy things turned out with the stock fans in the View 37 ARGB you originally wanted, I would definitely confirm with support first if the fans in the View 37 RGB can be used with the 5 port hub included with fans sold separately.

Is the 3 push button controller this one: https://ttpremium.com/product/riing-plus-rgb-controller/ It mentions coming with a bridge cable, but I am unsure if you can bridge that controller with the 5 port one that is intended to control products via Thermaltake's software. You would need to contact Thermaltake to make sure. Thermaltake also has a 9 port controller, the TT Sync Controller. This allows you to control the lights on Thermaltake's addressable RGB products via motherboard software.   22. The 9 port TT Sync controller is designed to let motherboard software control the lights Thermaltake's addressable RGB products. Your BIOS will then control the speed of the fans. If you would like to use Thermaltake's software, you need to use their standard 5 port controllers. Unless you purchased a bunch of single packs of the 120mm Riing Plus fans, I would imagine you have at least two of the 5 port controllers. You are able to chain up to 16 of these together and control all the devices on all connected controllers, within Thermaltake's software.
  23. Looks like the included fans uses the same 9 pin USB 2.0 header as the 5 port controller that comes with their other addressable RGB products. As long as you purchase at least one fan + controller package (200mm fans can be purchased with and without a controller), you should be able to hook up both your 200mm and the included three 140mm Riing Plus RGB fans to the same controller and control them together.
  24. They're listed on their site for $59.99, but are not able to be added to cart yet. I'm a little sad they went with 9 LEDs each strip instead of 12, as all of my Riing Plus fans are 12 LEDs.
  25. I was originally confused when you said it came with 200mm pure plus fans, as I couldn't recall them ever being released. I agree that it is very annoying for them to pull such a maneuver. Having to manufacture a new connector and controller and keep stock of all of that couldn't be saving them any money versus reusing what they already have and including the 5 port controller with the case. If in fact there is no way for the case ones to work with the stand alone purchased ones, they should have that listed somewhere in the case description. Did you get on the phone with them?
