    Hello,
    Set fan 1 to your desired color and effect, then set the other fans to Copy Color effect. After that, hit the save button in the upper right corner and everything should synchronize.
    The 'RGB' tab you mentioned is actually the button for synchronizing your Thermaltake Products with Razer Chroma. 
    The software really needs some sort of built in guide to explain things. There are a lot of nuances that aren't mentioned in any of their help videos either.

    I did a quick search on Google, and all I could find about their software and Linux was someone's GitHub project that appears to be their own software for controlling the fans. However I don't see support for the Riing Trio fans listed. The owner appears to be taking requests to add products, but there is no guarantee.

    Another member on the forum has written their own software as well, but I am unsure if it has Linux support. They are working on Riing Trio support, though.
    Thermaltake's support is terrible. Purchasing their products in the hopes that someone else's software will get you what you want may be a large gamble. You could try ordering off of Amazon, as they are usually great about returns. Then you can send things back if you can't get it working. Otherwise, I recommend looking elsewhere.

    after some time waiting for parts and building my beast for 6k euro it is now alive and all 16 thermaltake products shine so beautiful along with many other lightning effects ARBG madness. and the TT sync boxes worked instantly first time i turned on even with outdated bios.

    1. If you wish to use Asus Aura, you will need to purchase the TT Sync controller, which is a 9 port controller sold separately. This controller plugs in to a 5V addressable RGB header on the motherboard. I know ThermalMike mentioned the limitation of motherboard software with the number of addressable LEDs. I believe it's in the 200s, and if you had 9 Riing Trios hooked up you would be at 270 addressable LEDs.
    2. There should not be a difference between using the Y splitter vs. the bridge cable. Both should provide the same functionality.
    3. Whether you use the Y splitter or the bridge cable, each controller needs its own molex power.

    Very strange behavior. So you are connecting the TT Sync controller to the Phantek case's RGB header of some sort, not the motherboard?

    Are you trying to control the fans with the remote or through motherboard software? It says that the built in controller is compatible with MSI and Asus RGB software. So in theory I would think it should be fine if you're motherboard is interfacing with that controller. If Phantek's built in settings are in control, then that is probably your issue.
    An easy way to check that you didn't receive any bad equipment is to connect it directly to a 5V RGB header on your motherboard and see it functions correctly that way.

    That's unfortunate that you don't have an RGB header. It makes things more difficult to troubleshoot.
    It may be the case that Phantek's controller interprets the ASUS and MSI software signals to protocols that their RGB products will understand. In which case, if that controller is not outputting ASUS or MSI RGB protocols, that could explain the abnormal behavior as the TT Sync controller would not be designed to handle Phantek's protocols. 
    You have PWM cables running between the TT Sync controller and the motherboard, correct? Those are what actually drive the fans and pump. Connecting to the TT Sync controller to an RGB header (or in your case the built in Phantek controller) is just for the lights.
    You would have to ask Phantek about about this more in depth.

    How do you have the devices plugged into the TT Sync controller? Per this user's thread, they had issues until they put the pump on its owner side of the controller:
     
    If this still doesn't solve your issue you could try an RMA, but Thermaltake may just blow it off as incompatible products.

    Thermaltake has a huge lineup of fans, so it makes it very confusing. The following are individually addressable products:
    Fans: Riing Plus, Pure Plus, Riing Trio 
    LED Strips: Pacific Lumi Plus
    AIO Liquid Coolers: Floe 240/280/360 (these come with Riing plus fans for the radiator and the water pump has addressable LEDs built in)
    They have other custom liquid cooler parts as well that are addressable, but those above are the main products. Those I listed will come with a 5 port controller for control with Thermaltake's software, but can also be plugged into their 9 port TT sync controller (bought separately) which plugs into a 5V RGB header on a motherboard an allows motherboard lighting software to control the lights. You will then need to run PWM cable between the TT Sync controller and motherboard so the BIOS can control the speed of the fans.

    If so, they are not individually addressable, and thus would not work with an addressable RGB header, nor with the TT Sync controller. 
    For the lumi strips, are you talking about these?

    The TT Sync controller only supports a 5V RGB header.

    Yup, totally doable but requires manually setting the leds from software, there is no support for it in the firmware so you just cant change the currently available effects. Unless of course they update the firmware.
    Once I rewrite the app you will be able to do anything you want with custom effects. Im actually thinking about abandoning future updates to the current version and just start writing the new one. The hacks are getting ridiculous.

    I can't see any reason why they would plug into the 9 port sync controller but not the 5 port controller. Perhaps he bought the 9 port controller because the included 3 button controller allows motherboard software control of lighting but only supports up to 3 addressable devices?
    But with how screwy things turned out with the stock fans in the View 37 ARGB you originally wanted, I would definitely confirm with support first if the fans in the View 37 RGB can be used with the 5 port hub included with fans sold separately.

    I'm looking at that case more, and it appears the included fans don't have the standard 9 pin USB 2.0 cable that comes when one buys the fans separately. 
    If you haven't already, try getting on the phone with ThermaltakeUSA to see they can figure out a way to get all your equipment working together. You could also try contacting @ThermalMike on here for some help.

    Unfortunately, there is no officially supported way to daisy chain the 9 port TT Sync Controller. However, you may find this thread of some use. Someone figured out how to use two of the controllers together: 
     
    If you would like to use Thermaltake's software, it supports daisy chaining up to 16 of their 5 port controllers.

    For any others who come across this thread, I needed a solution to handle the excessive amount of RGB LED I wanted to incorporate into ASUS Aura so it could all be controlled simultaneously.
    The solution that worked for me was to buy:
    (1) XSPC splitter - Click Here
    (2) Thermaltake TT Sync's - Click Here

    Step 1 - Connect the XSPC splitter to the 5v Header (DO NOT CONNECT TO 12V Header) on your MB.
    Step 2 - Connect the XSPC splitter to SATA power
    Step 3 - Connect all of your RGB Lighting to the TT Sync's following the instruction manuals for them
    Step 4 - Connect all of your fan controlls for the TT Sync's
    Step 5 - Connect both of the TT Sync's 5v Headers to the XSPC Splitter

    This worked for me with two TT Sync's but I imagine that since the power is coming from SATA, you could potentially connect eight TT Sync's to the splitter. But I am no expert on this so I could be wrong. Thanks to Tack for all of his help steering me the right way on this!

    I believe that newer units now ship with a resistor cable that fixes the cable. I was able to contact support and have the new cables shipped to me at no cost and without having to return the old ones.

    Are you controlling them via Thermaltake's TT RGB Plus software? If so, you need to setup Fan 1 how you want, then set the other fans to "Copy Color" light mode and they will follow Fan 1s settings.

    Make sure you are not running this program and the official one. They will both stop to work.
    To install you run "RiingPlus.Service.exe", it will ask you for administrator rights (needed for temperature reading), and then follow the prompts. If installing as custom user enter username as  ".\<username>" and your windows password. To uninstall run it again.
    Then you run "RiingPlus.Gui.exe" to control the service. If you see a "waiting for service" dialog, the service probably failed to start. You can check why in windows event log. 
    By default your current settings will be left untouched, you have to create a new profile, select fans that will be in that profile and click save. Each fan can only be in one profile of each type. The types are:
    Normal Boot - when saved will apply fan speed/rgb settings at pc boot, after saving will revert to Normal profile for each fan if present Shutdown - will be applied  when service/pc is shutting down There are no error prompts and the app will just revert to correct/previous settings when saving if something is configured incorrectly.
    By default the temperature update is every 250ms, and fan speed update is every 2500ms. This can be changed in "config.json", not available in gui yet.
     
    Ofc I give you no warranty that it will work, or that your pc wont catch on fire. You can read posts from people that have it working. If something wont work, ill try to update but dont expect 24/7 support.

    Kewlmunky is correct.  I have both of these controllers and the one you have connects to the USB 2.0 - 9 pin connection on the motherboard.  If your motherboard only has 1 of these connections and you want to connect other internal USB 2.0 devices such as an RGB powersupply or front case USB 2 connectors you can use one of these - Nzxt Internal USB Hub Controller.  I find that it works well.
