  1. The floe riing and sync controller are compatible. But the riing controller and sync controller are not. Sadly there is no way to make that work without mods. But in the end even if you mod it you would still have 2 controller's. The thing behind the sync controller is the ability to use your motherboards software to control everything.
  2. The software not using the last used profile seems to be a bug that was introduced in 1.1.8. I am sure they are working on a fix. I am having this issue as well.
  3. Ok so on riing 4 and 5 click the green circle at the top after that it should look like this after that you should be all good
  4. If your are talking about the controller above the answer is no its not possible. You best bet would be to replace them with more Riing Plus fans
  5. first thing I would do is recheck the connections to the controller and the motherboard header. As for the switches are you talking about the ones on the controller unit its self?. If you are and only have one controller they should be like this
  6. MMM if you have them set to different profiles in the software and its still doing that I would see if reinstalling the software fixes anything. I just went from 1.2 then 1.1.8 then back to 1.2 and I no longer crash on PWM toggle. So its worth a shot if you have already tried this I would hit up support and give them a call.
  7. The TT RGB plus software version 1.2 does seem to be having crashing issues related to PWM toggles. As for the going back and forth are both controllers using the same profile?
  8. just tested this link I pulled from my download history and it works http://www.thermaltake.com/db/support/software/TT_RGB_Plus_Setup_1.1.7_x86.zip
  9. A internal usb header extension will work. I had to do the same for my core x9 but have not finished as I am abandoning the x9 project and preparing for the Level 20 XT. Or you can make your own as they are just dupont connectors. I have gone both routes but the time as cost of making you own is far greater then buying some from a reputable China seller. Plus making your own is just a hair puller as its hard to get it just perfect. Now as for AWG the fans are 26AWG and all I could find on ebay that was the same or larger was 24AWG. The ebay seller I went with was https://www.ebay.com/itm/382476740228?ViewItem=&item=382476740228 They shipped it right away but it did take about 20 days to get to me on the west coast but that is to be expected with a China epacket. I plan to sleeve them once I get the level 20 xt and pick a theme as its a beauty http://computex2018.thermaltake.com/goods_key_chassis.html And yes they are 8 pin as that is all the fan need to do everything. The cables I bought I have tested and running for over 2 months now.
  10. all good. Just downgraded back to the beta to test Yah I have 4 controllers. The bug with the software not starting up on the last profile used was introduced in this beta sadly. On mine controller 1 and 2 startup on profile 1 and 3 and 4 start up on profile 5. Its a strange bug but with this list of issue I am sure they will push a patch fast. EDIT: Also just noticed mine has lost temp monitoring mmmm thats fun ahhhh mhm. I dont know what to make of that are you experiencing this? 2nd EDIT: went back to 1.2.0 got my temps back
  11. 1. The loss of setting/color happened to me as well on this update but I think that is just a minor bug. It happened to me before as well a few updates ago but didn't happen on the 3 updated after that 2. I just tested the pwm issue and it crashed for me 3. My setting are saving however when the app starts for me it seem so start of profile 5 that I never use and all my setting still exist but on profiles 1,2,3 and 4. 4. The c++ error is not corrupt its just the c++ install does not seem to know how to handle it correctly when it already exists and updated 5. if the software is uninstalled none of the lights will move. This is seems to be how the controller respond when it looses connection with the software. They will maintain color but all movement seems to be actively controlled by the software as for the previous version you can still download the last beta I do not recall any of these issues dropbox link is in Thermalmikes post below. heads up this is happening if you can pass the word @ThermalMike
  12. you got to set up a profile for each controller if you want them to be different. If all the controllers are using profile 1 when change something on profile 1 it will change all the other controllers that are using that same profile. so if you want them different set controller 1 to profile 1, Controller 2 to profile 2, ect ect. Then set up your colors.
  13. The riing plus controller run via usb and doesn't require any rgb header. The TT sync controller does require a rgb header. As for another controller give support a call I am sure they can hook you up.
  14. The daisy chain cable makes it so you do not need a second usb coming from your motherboard but you still need a usb connection to the primary controller let me use my pro paint skills to explain Then connect power to both controllers and your all set
  15. Have you tried a different port for that fan on the controller. If the answer to that is yes then I would say warranty it.
  16. Can you upload a video of what the tt sync controller is doing with the asus aura. As for your question the TT rgb plus software can't work with the TT sync controller as it is not designed to.
  17. lol well they just put out 1.2.0 was coming to edit my post to reflect that it just got pushed out http://ttrgbplus.thermaltake.com/
  18. That is a strange one have you by chance tried the new beta they put out last week No idea if they have made any big changes to the back end but it is worth a shot as it does sound like some sort of software conflict. If all else fails you could go with the TT sync controller that just uses your mobos addressable rgb & pwm headers and no TT software.
  19. Try this link http://ttesports.com/files/Product_download/tt_esports_poseidon_z_rgb_v2.1.2.rar
  20. They came with the replacement controllers when I had this very same issue as seen here. Never ended up using the replacement controllers just the power cables and here I sit with no issues after replacing them. They are not proprietary just a standard floppy power connector. You can get them at almost any computer supply store.
  21. Yeah the cables with the circuit board caused this to happen with my controllers once I changed out the power cable they worked fine. But if you try that and are still having this problem contact support and I am sure they will get some replacements heading your way.
  22. It would be nice to have the ability to export/import profiles seems like every update I end up forgetting to copy my profiles in app data. It would be nice to just to have it built in system for exporting and importing profiles. Also on the subject of profiles can we get more of them 5. It is very limiting when you have 3 controllers and plans to add a 4th. The reason I say this whether its my strips, fans or pump I don't really have them all doing the same thing or on the same profile. So with that it takes up 3 profiles and if I want to change it up I end up having to change one of the existing profiles I planned to use again. On a side note when messing with voice commands. The "Hello TT" can sometimes be impossible to do. 90% of the time it thinks I said "Hello Titi" It would be nice if you can just select those modes on a list. Other then that so far the new modes are a nice improvement. But would love more sound modes .
  23. do the power cables look like this on the ones that are disappearing. You should be able to feel a circuit board under the mesh or do they look like this without the sleeving Now to answer your other question you can split addressable RGB header with a just by making a Y cable. Now both ends of the Y would be reciving the same info so they would be doing the same thing but as long as you have the amps to power it all the cables will not know the difference as its a one way signal. So you could run 2 TT Sync controllers off one header but you may need to only pull signal from the motherboard and power direct from your psu 5v and ground as most motherboard only give about 2-4amps to the rgb header. My setup needed 8 amps for my addressable rgb.
