[Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition Software cannot find controller and does not light up]

This seems to be quite the issue on here, but I have not been able to find a solution.

i7-8700k

ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING

I have connected the AIO and it is working great except there are no lights (Pump and fans). The software is not able to find the controller (Error Code: H_0x0001). I have tried every single configuration of the DIP on the back, all the USB headers on my motherboard and I am running out of ideas. Furthermore the software will only start after I uninstall it and reinstall it, trying to launch it again results in the fans maxing out for about 30 second and the software doesnt even load. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
