is there a way to deactivate the button or re keybind or to make it do nothing

hi so i just bought a new talon blu mouse and was wondering if there is a way to lock the dpi button it seems when i am in a game and trying to scroll down i hit the dpi button and i would like to lock it so i dont hit that mid fight thx
