  1. Thanks, Griffnol! I actually went with Gigabyte Z-490 Vision D, with a Gigabyte 1660 super GPU. I'm starting the water cooling now and I need another PSU;. It is a little confusing with the PSU's, especially with the iRGB and the GF/PF 1 models. I want one that works with the RGB plus software but what is confusing me is the fan in each model. I want at least a 2 riing Duo fan....wish they'd throw a quad in it, with a clear top. that would be pretty cool. Also moved everything into a Core 5 chassis - wanted the P&. We need to get some parts in!!!!! Also waiting on the P32 D-5 pump/reservoir. I did get the MX1 plus water block. Had a problem with mine but it is a great ;looking block. Hopefully I can get an exchange and finish up soon. You r computer looks great, thanks again for the help!
  2. Well, thanks anyway. Went with the CLD 480. With the new Pacific MX1 plus water block.
  3. Hello! I have a T.T. RDL 480m Radiator going to an MX1 plus Thermaltake block. A Pacific D-32 or D22 will be the reservoir ( last thing I need except fittings.). I have a pack of 16o 12 i Thermaltake Tubing, (and shaping/cutting kit). - all I need now is some correct fitting (1/4 I believe) A few 90 degree (3?) for the radiator, 2 for the block, 1 stopper for the reservoir, and a few regular compression. (the kit of 6 is crazy expensive.). Any help would be great, thank you!
  4. I'd suggest riing quad fans instead of riing plus, flow or whatever else.
  5. The reason I didn't consider the P8 was because although it holds a #### load of fane, it still has them coming from the fides, while I want everything facing front. This P5 will hold the extensions for the P7, and since I couldn't but it when I tried to, I hope they will sell me the pieces for the amount they'd cost if I bought the P7. I got the TG Titanium edition. It is light black/grey. not 'black' Here is a quick install of the basics. Not great pics, I know
  6. I see CL, CLM, RL...etc Which are considered the best. Can someone help me out with the differences - one seems slim. I want best copper and the brazed contacts, etc. I have a P5 and I need the 480 for my Quad fans. Wish I could have got the P7, but no where to be found. Thanks for the help!
  7. Those water blocks are pretty cool. I saw recently a case that was a waterblock, or at least the whole back of the case was a block like that. Anyway, I have joined you in the Core P5 club. I just couldn't wait for the P7 to get back in stock. I was able to get he Titanium edition (4 3.0 USB instead of 2 & 2) - $160.00, and it was the last at Amazon, now they go for $220.00 from the gougers. It should be here Tuesday - I think I can always make my own extensions if I want to do Water cooling like the picture. That is if I can't but the extension as an add on. I know the cases are the same for P5 & P7.....I hope they'll sell it to me. ...if they ever get them themselves. Can't wait to get a 480m radiator for these killer quads!!!!
  8. Lol, that Corsair is a monster. I saw one in Micro Center, even bigger than my View 71 - like the 6 front fans, but I don't want things facing 2 directions, that's why I want the P5 or P7. I really thing the P7 is just the P5 with the addons. it's so cheap right now ($169.00) compared to $300.00 for the P7. That corsair is the biggest tower type chassis that I've seen so far. Do you think Thermaltake will have black Friday sales? I really hope so. They should be giving me a discount seeing I'm doing this whole build with T.T.. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  9. Links working now, nice job. looks real nice. Here is a picture of The P7 - it looks like your P5 but with the added left and right extensions for water-cooling the GPU from the left and CPU from the right. To tell you the truth, I'd like to but the P%, especially if it came with the side glass. Also, it's going for $169.00 now. The P7 (pictured) is $300.00. Waiting to see if it is cheaper when Black Friday hits, or I might buy the P5 and hope for the best with the extensions. The corners from the pics I have seen look like the P5 could have the wings bolt on, but I'm not sure. I dig having the four 120 quad fans on the Radiator - even better with 12 on the 2 radiators and main body of a core P7!!! Picture only has 3, but you can fit 4 .
  10. Hi. I'm looking for a chassis similar but I think I like the P7 with the left and right 'wings' to put a pump and radiator on each side. I wonder if you can retro fit the wings onto your P5 or not. The page wasn't working so I couldn't see your build.
  11. Thank you for your reply so quick, WTG! I'm glad for you, that is really a nice chassis, completely bonkers! it's gonna take a lot of coin and parts for it. What are you putting on it? I want to get three 480mm Radiators and I want riing quads, they really are amazing with the T.T software - so much better that fusion 2.0 for sure! Thank you for the news on the back plate, it wasn't necessarily a deal breaker, but good to know it can be changed. It is going for $299.00 US money now, still a lot of money. I want it now, but I am going to try and wait until Black Friday sales, since we are so close. Twelve riing quad 120 fans are gonna cost.....600$!!!!! I like this build because it's something you can add to over time....it makes a nice statement about your skills to build and do it artistically. Good luck with it, keep us posted on what you have in it
  12. Just googled to fix this problem and wound up here, thank you! I have 3 quad fans, so I tuned them all to 'quad', and hit the green circle on 4 and 5, which have no fan. I guess that green circle turns off the fan ports/ Either way the message went away so appreciate the help!
  13. Hi. I wonder if you ever bought this case. Shame this place isn't more active. I'm thinking of the P7 myself and I'm just doing my due diligence now. it's a lot of money, I'm wondering if the right/left 'wing's on the P7 can be bough separately for other core models? Also, can the motherboard be placed either RAM to the right as normal, or with RAM below the CPU, as see in the ads - with the i/o on top? or only one way, and the whole case has to be turned up or to the side? Thanks and this looks like a great case!!!
  14. I moved from Long Island to pompano Beach some time ago. I rented a box truck for 1-way trip and dropped it off local. Good luck. I hope it isn't for a girl! (or guy).
  15. This might be one of the best pictures to describe the quad fans In a real setting. This picture is through Fusion 2.0 though, I want to try the Thermaltake software but the controller is not showing up. Worst thing is, the instruction manual has obvious errors and are pretty useless, this after I went and spent an extra $30 for the special controller for using Fusion and the mobo's RGB. Any hints on the best way to hook up so the controller is recognized? Even if I have to use the one that came in the original 3 pack box, I just want to use the neon.....forgot it's name, but it is the new TT software for the quad fans. Thanks and be well!
  16. This is real nice, just what I was looking to see so I could ask this question - How do you mount Three 120mm fans vertically in the area just left of the pump reservoir in these pics? There is certainly no way to screw all 4 corners in for all the fans. I wanted to mount my 3 TT quad 120's right where these in the picture are. Also - what is originally supposed to fit that area? Radiators and pumps? It's a shame it isn't made to be able to screw all 12 corners into the case...unless i'm missing something - ties? Thank you and great job by you all, especially this build. it's really nice.
  17. I just want to say that so far, I'm very happy with the customer service. The part is expected on the 1st, so we'll see but I feel like they have really done right by me, so thank you Thernaltake Usa!!!
  18. Hello, I'm a proud View 71 owner, it's a heavy beast but I like the modular design and the glass reminds me of my old Kenwood stereo system. I'm looking to buy replacement parts. I'd really like to find the front I/o panel, preferably ARGB and or type C ports. I don't feel like buying another case, hopefully there will be someone that might be able to help. Thank you and be well.
  19. That is great, thank you very much! I know I must have that somewhere but could not find it. Thank you, TT Irene!!
  20. Funny, I'm digging around looking for the manual that came with the same controller for 3 riing 14 fans. I had it apart, totally forgot what that white dot meant. Also, the connection port that is left over - I take it that is for a wire to connect to a 2nd fan controller? I really wanted to know what that port was for, appreciate any help and thank you. The 3 fan w/controller came with the View 71 case pre-installed.
  21. I put my 1st computer together. I never did it before and had to watch a video on how to get the GPU out, but I did it and it works. I could use some advice on an RGB motherboard that has the most headers and room for many plugins. Any advice on that would be great. I will pick up a modular PSU, advice on RGB parts would be great for this 1st build. Thank you!
  22. eff it, I'm going in on my own.
  23. Hello. This is great, can't believe there is a site like this. I just bought a View 71 case, and I'd like to ask a few beginners questions if there is an area for that. I just need some advice before I pull the parts in a current cybertron case to put in my 71. The layout is pretty simple, but any steps in the process regarding the HDD and GPU mostly would help. I'm just going to learn by doing and if I mess it up, I'll try again...with more help. Thanks!
