Martinet reacted to Richi in Project F1 Dream - Lvl 10 Ltd Edition Titanium
    Project F1 Dream

Well having just finished a mod that I won’t be seeing for a long while (traveling around shows and such). It was time to build another, this one I had been planning for years to do (those that know me would know this as I have been talking about it for quite a while).

I had originally planned back then to do F1 themed rig based around Jenson and Lewis, but with the team mates split up I put it off for a while (and due to illness, but that’s another very long story).

To cut it short I spotted Thermaltake were doing a new run of the level 10 and having been one of only two that I could find that had modded the original Level 10, II thought let us go down the Lewis Hamilton route and contacted Thermaltake and managed to secure Number 44 for the Thermaltake Level 10 Ltd edition, funny thing is all this was done before he became world champion, so him winning it means I could add a few things.

This time I wanted to be a bit bolder with the build, and do something different to last time and so it begins.

First off let me start off with a big thanks to the sponsors that jumped on board.

Martinet reacted to ArcAngelSlayer in Armor Revo Side Fan Noise
    Hi

I've had the case for about 2 years, while I did notice the side fan creates a clattering noise a while ago, initially I thought it wasn't a major issue as it was under a large desk and was difficult to hear unless you really listened for it. (Also didn't want to send the whole case back for a fan noise), though I am unsure of the warranty period.

However I've recently moved and changed my desk, the case is very much on display now and the noise is driving me insane. I've checked the build to make sure nothing is in its way and that everything is tight and fitted correctly and it still makes this noise regardless.

I'm about to start fitting water cooling to reduce the noise of the system further, without fixing this problem its slightly pointless, as its the loudest thing in my PC. Is there anywhere I can order a new side fan, as I noticed it has a unique connector.

    Thanks in advance

Hello, I writting here because I have some trouble with my Thermaltake TPG-650M and I have no answer when I send a mail.
When I play a game (like GTA V, Shadow of the mordor, heroes & general and 75% of games in my computer), the fan of alimentation starts spinning very fast, as if he was overheated. This brings the net stop the alimentation, so the pc.
I have the required configuration for this game, and no other fan (cpu, gpu or pc) spinning fast, only the fan of your product.
The fan also has some hiccup-like in normal utilisation of the pc (out of game).
If you want my configuration, I have :
    - CPU : Intel Core i5 4690K 3.50 GHz 4 cores
    - Motherboard : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. H97-PLUS Rev X. 0x
    - GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 970
    - RAM : 16 go
    - OS : Windows 10 (but same problem with 8.1) 64 bits

I want to know if the product is faulty from the factory or if problems come from elsewhere ?

Martinet reacted to DJMACRAE in Front Bay LCD Displays.
Hi guys, after ordering the V21 I was on the hunt for a fan controller/lcd media display for the front bay. as its a desktop pc, I thought it would make sense to incorporate an lcd display ( the dremel is coming out, I am gonna use that 5.25 inch hole on the case to mount a 5.25 inch LCD, so the front panel will need to be cut, unless you guys release a new front panel with a 5.25 inch bay and mounting kit ) like the iMon VDF, the Antec Veris or even Thermaltakes own MediaLab, (all those rely on custom media software ) however, on trying to track down these bay expansions, it seems that both iMON and the MediaLab are both discontinued,  and the Antec was very expensive and stock also shaky, years ago these expansions were very popular, but now it seems, not, it would be ace to see a unit incorporate both media and cooling, like the nMEDIAPC PRO LCD series, which are only $35-$40, although they are not fan controllers, just temp and fan speed read outs, and I am sure the reason most of all the other LCD media bays were discontinued was because of the software, no one wanted to use it, however, the idea of a front panel lcd display that shows all your system information has well as media information really appeals, and I am sure if ThermalTake came back into this market, it would be something really special, being able to incorporate your cooling knowledge into the product, imagine a unit like the nMEDIAPC lcd, but it also has a remote control like the MEDIALAD (A simple RF board) and a basic 4 fan controller built in, which you could control with the remote, now that would be something, for the moment, hopefully I can track down a UK supplier for nMEDIAPC and its very rare front panel LCD displays. (theres no way one of those cheap aero touch controllers is going near my V21)

I saw the pictures of their new line of enthusiast grade cases and fell in love! I absolutely have to get one of these. I'm currently running my custom loop in a Corsair 760T which just doesn't have enough room for what I want to do. I saw the pictures of these new cases at computex but haven't heard anything since. I know there was some controversy surrounding them and I hope that it doesn't delay release. Anyways, what's the scoop on these amazing cases? I particularly liked the WP100 with the box basement added on bottom for a big window facing radiator. I'll honestly buy this chasis on release date if it's reasonably priced. Any idea how long I'll be waiting?

This is just a thread for discussing any anime we are interested in, have watched, want to watch, or whatever else applies.

I am easily a fan of classic anime including Kinnikuman, Fist of the North Star, Lupin the Third, Space Adventure Cobra, Ashita no Joe, Otokojuku, and Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 among others. I'm mainly inclined to classic franchises because I tend to feel MOST anime nowadays is too reliant on or deliberate with their use of fanservice and overly annoying characters compared to back then, thus I tend to avoid most modern animes but direct iterations/spinoffs of an older series (ex. Golgo 13 and JoJo's) or ones consisting primarily of adults (ex. Black Lagoon).

This is an image I once made by tracing over existing images of characters and putting them in one massive group pic, all of these except for Mazinger (waiting for better subs to be available online) I have watched at least one full episode of. Unfortunately I lost most of the individual images of each character so I can't really expand the roster without doing it all over again (It's not too difficult aside from Kenshiro and Gundam). I did do one recently of Moguro Fukuzou from Laughing Salesman (Which is my current avatar) but I'm not sure If I'll bother re-making the rest.

From left to right...Kitaro (GeGeGe no Kitaro), Ryotsu Kankichi (Kochikame), Mazinger Z, Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star), Lupin III, Astro Boy/Atom, Cobra (Space Adventure Cobra), RX-78 Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam), Kinnikuman, Cutey Honey, Seiya (Saint Seiya / Knights of the Zodiac).

Martinet reacted to Representtexas in [Build Thread] Nk-1 Chaser "Green Screen" HTPC
    Hello Thermaltake,

I have a build thread going over at OC.net and I just saw the announcement of your new community forum.

I have decided to be one of the first to share my build here since the new build is based on cutting up my old thermaltek Mk-1 Chaser chassis.

I recently finishing up my first attempt at hard pipe water cooling for the Corsair Domination contest and have grown bored now that it is complete. (for now at least) Link to most recent build thread.

I am in desperate need of an HTPC that can house my collection of "legally obtained" media, personal family photos, years of home movies and many many Johnny Cash mp3s.

I had planned to start this project in August and purchasing the newly announced Corsair Air 240 mini however, I have a few spare parts laying around and it feels silly to not take advantage of what I have and use the money that I would have spent on upgrading my main rig next year.

In an earlier build, I had been using a 400mm Phobya Rad that sat OUTSIDE my case and decided that it looked cheesy so I threw it aside and forgot all about it, until now.

Just recently, we were watching a movie in the living room and it hit me, that 400mm rad should be the main piece of hardware in my upcoming HTPC build. It's large enough to cool the spare A10-5800k and the 200mm fans on low settings should be inaudible. Brilliant. (or so I hope)

Only, what case out there can house a 400mm fan internally?... Surely my old Mk-1 Chaser from thermaltake couldn't hold it...unless.

After building many a PCs... all for fun and not for profit..I have never once taken to saws and paint. All of my builds have been hardware/watercooling expressions of love...but fear kept me from mutilating a $100+ investment on cases that looked great as they were imo. Now I have a reason to saw..a reason to buy a rotary...a reason to walk out of home depot with sheets of acrylic and an expression of confidence that can only be found by a man on a mission. Wish me luck.

    Current Parts list:
AMD A10 - 5800k Thermaltake Full Tower (Mk-1 Chaser) 1200 InWin Commander PSU (iffy, as it seems like way too overkill but it's what I got) A ton of left over clear PETG Rigid tubing from PrimoChill Swiftech MCP655 Pump (G1/4 threaded) PrimoChill CTRâ„¢ Compression Tube Reservoir System Phase 2 - 240mm Clear Phobya 400mm rad Needs
One SDD and at least 8tb of HDD space Gigabyte Sniper A88x Some green RAM (not decided) AMD water block (Brand undecided, leaning towards the EK clear so the green liquid can show) Green/Black/Grey MDPC sleeving (first time, super exciting about this!!!) 4x 200 MM fans(Probably black with green accents and no LEDs) Looking for a unique Mesh that will keep dust out and not look to tacky Green accent lighting (Still undecided, so many ideas to chose from) Numerous sheets of acrylic, this will be my first time playing with acrylic sheets so I may get carried away. Sorry in advance. Build Mission

To build a Full Tower HTPC that can internally house my 400mm Phobya rad, be completely silent, CLEAN, green themed, powerful enough for HD movies/light gaming now with enough pre-planning to easily upgrade to 4K capability in the future and just showy enough to have visitors ask me what the #### is that when they step into my living room.

    Old Build with my Mk-1
New Build What I have working WIth
Case modding begins   Finished cutting   400mm Phobya Rad and it fits!!
That's all I could do until next weekend. Hope you enjoyed the progress so far!
Fiberglass mesh I will use as screens

I bought a new Volos a few months ago and right from the start it has had this annoying intermittent issue where a button click won't register that I have lifted my finger off so, the mouse still thinks I'm holding the button down when I'm not.

So in FPS games if shoot a gun it will keep firing on its own. Or if I right click to aim it will stay in aim mode.

Clicking the "stuck button" again then fixes the problem which makes it hard to reproduce the problem on demand.

It doesn't happen with any one specific button, I have had it happen with left click/right click and even with the scroll bar. It happens once every few hundred clicks.

    Firmware is updated to latest.

I took it back to the store I bought from but they claim they can't reproduce the problem after three days of testing. I have personally tested it on two separate computers and have had it happen on both.

Anyone seen this before? Not sure how I can convince the store the problem really exists if they don't test it extensively enough.

I have googled around and found that most porbably the problem could be a 5v problem in my powersupply. It happen that i have re-installed my windows 7, updated all drivers and BIOS, but i am still having this issue.
