  1. Hi all, so I’m going to water cool my PC and mount my card vertically. I have a 3080 xc3, so I need a pcie gen 4 16 x cable Im in Canada and the only thermaltake connector I’ve found is a right angle, which doesn’t work for the vertical mount. I purchased a Link-Up cable, but even though I specifically made sure to match the right cable with their recommendation, the holes don’t line up and I can’t mount it. I can get one of the small holes to match but that’s it. even then I can’t screw in the stay to hold the riser cable. I’ve got a bolster that I used on my GPU when it was installed normally, so I have support there. Do I need the base to mount the riser cable on or can I just leave it? The card wasn’t cheap and I don’t want to damage it, plus I’m not thrilled with the aesthetics of the bolster especially with me spending the effort and energy with setting up water cooling.
  2. Did anyone ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue. RMAd the controller AND the fans, still no control via mystic light. This is SO beyond frustrating edit: THANK YOU to OP of this post. You'll never see this, but I cannot thank you enough. I tried literally everything. Had the stupid fans and controller processed via RMA. The solution? MOVE THE CABLE. I had it plugged from Jrainbow1 into the bottom connector of the controller. Moved it to the top slot and now I have full control. I don't know if I should just be angry at myself for not trying harder to check the cabling, or that support never said "Hey I know our instructions are dumb, are you sure jrainbow1 is connected to the top of the controller itself?" Either way, it works. I can control my lights now. Now I just have to deal with the horrific RMA process through TT
