The old CPU, guess bad termalpaste has to take some of the blame for bad performence.
First GPU has gotten its block and backplate on, as well as terminal has been put on.

Thanks for that, so 200mm measured diagonally across the screw holes?
Im sure a 200mm fan is 170. but on your words i shall order one this morning.
Will update when it arrives.
I would find a ruler and measure, just to be sure.

If any year is allowed, then I go for BrimStone - By PennyWise
I just feel its a case you will notice, even in a modding contest, do to its looks.

Good thing I decided to clean the rads before using them.
This is one of the 60mm once, after first flush: -

It seems BitFenix got you covered.

It dont seem like there are any 230mm fans out there, but you got a few choices in 200mm.
Most are probally 30mm thick, but at least this one is just 20mm:
There is also 1 left of the Tt one:

It seems they are out there, just takes a bit of searching:

With the case around the corner, so did I take a closer look at my new parts.
-
Nice showcase.
For practical use, so do I question the air flow and lack of dust filters.
-
Guess its not popular with youtubers, as this is currently the unboxing/review with it:
-
What parts you looking for?
We have some shipments in process now.
An side door without window, and 5 of the brakets for mounting stuff in the bottom.
-
Any update on when parts will be available?
-
I dont have my case yet, but as far as I can tell, so is this a design thing.
You can always try and remove the tool less bracket and see if you cant line it up using screws.

I got bored, so I skeched my loop. Not the best result or the most accurate, but its better then nothing.

Sound like someone banged up the case, as its not that way by design.

We are always open to feedback, as we always want to build new chassis and parts the way you need them.
Thank you guys for all of the feedback on the new X series, we hope you are having as much fun exploring them as we did designing them!
Well you can start with making needed parts available for purchase, like brakets needed to mount hard drive cages or radiators in the bottom.
It seems you only get 2, while we need 3 or 4 to make full use of the space. Same if you want to mount 2 PSU.
Also, the side panel wtih air went would be nice, as not everyone wants full size windows on there case.

I hear you on the performance side of things and I have got feedback on the other side as well with users that want a window on both sides.
This is the same as the Core V1 and V21 that we offer window panels for as an optional accessory.
Personally I would like to see more people mod their panels and come up with their own version
Its a little hard to mod windows to give more air. Its easier the other way around.

So we have the Core X9 side panels up on our Tt Buy Store.

Why on earth would we want more windows on it?
I mean, its just ruining the cooling even more.
I would think that the panel with air holes will be far more popular.
And yeah, I know that the half window option is a mod, but it still solves 2 problems (showing off the build, while getting enough air in).
Maybe a window side panel with cutout holes for cooling, can be an other option.
-
thats a big list of cooling parts, must have cost you a fortune
Yeah, its not cheap, but its worth it.
-
It can only be a matter of days, we've received stock in Germany already and Alternate listed it too.
I dont know who Scan deals with, but its still not in stock. And Alternate only ships to the country they are in, so I cant use them ether.

I don't know where you conducted this quick search, I couldn't find any mention of a mouse sleep mode, or standby mode, or anything of the kind. I Googled, Bing-ed, and Yahoo'ed my way through the internet, but if anyone else has this issue they are very quiet about it. Not even phone support could tell me anything before I got sent to some other country to have a chat with Mr. Singham.

"Cons: The laser goes to "sleep" after some time and requires pretty vigorous movement to wake it up"
So its not just you that got this problem.
-
Speaking of side panels, will half window side panels be an option?
The bottom half is not worth showing off most of the time, anyway. And it increases cooling.

Project "Black Tornado": Cooling over silence?

There dont appare to be anything wrong with the cooler or the fans, so guess it was bad termalpaste and bad airflow, that caused my problems. Unless the cooler is broken or not good enough. I will have it tested later to be sure of the cause.
The old case, after I removed most of the components. I left the motherboard, as that was the easiest place to store it.
