Speaking of side panels, will half window side panels be an option?
The bottom half is not worth showing off most of the time, anyway. And it increases cooling.

Its 2 panels with dust filters (top and 1 side) and 1 with window, but it seems you should be able to order more panels, so you can go all window or all dust filters.
Just a shame that the hybrid one, from the BrimStone build, is not an option yet.

You can remove the motherbord tray, but not the back wall PCIE slots.

Also, I'm too disappointed by the case, as its too small for more then 3x 480mm rads. Was hoping to mount 6 in it, but guess that was a bit over the top.

As you can tell from the titel, this will be a black themed water cooling build, where noice is not dealt with (in terms of parts selected).

Where can I get spare parts for Core X9, in Norway / International shipping?

I'm looking for more brakets and a vented side panel.

I'm all for modding, but making a vindow into vents is hard, not to mention to find the right equipmet to make new brakkets.

My case is finally done, for this round.
Once I get some free money again, so will I do some more, as there are a few things I still want to do better.

And the CPU is done, meaning I'm lacking just 1 rad, the reservoir-pump combo and tubing.
And yes, EK recommendes the line method this time around.

I got bored, so I skeched my loop. Not the best result or the most accurate, but its better then nothing.

They are a little to high for my taste.
Temprature limit on the GPU's are 79C, while on the CPU its 95C, so there is not much room to go on.

Also, that is with stock cooling on GPU and 280mm rad cooling the CPU.

Looks like it will be a while before I get my hands on an X9, as I'm right now waiting on Scan.co.uk (or there bank) to transfer my money back, then it might be as much as 2 weeks delivery time from Alternate

Why on earth would we want more windows on it?
I mean, its just ruining the cooling even more.

I would think that the panel with air holes will be far more popular.

And yeah, I know that the half window option is a mod, but it still solves 2 problems (showing off the build, while getting enough air in).
Maybe a window side panel with cutout holes for cooling, can be an other option.

Its a little hard to mod windows to give more air. Its easier the other way around.

I have seen very few builds that make use of the space infront of the motherbord.
And as seen by the Brimstone build, so can you mount stuff there, just lack the bracets to do so.
1 or 2 metal bars with mounting points should allow hd case and psu to be mounted there, while still leaving room for air flow and reservoir.

    CPU cooler height limitation: 230mm
So highest part on the motherboard - total height = space available for radiators and fans.

The GPU is most likely the highest part, so measure it (dont forget to add cable space) and you will be able to tell how much space you got left.
