[Questions about the Poseidon Z Keyboard]

Hello, I just bought the Poseidon Z keyboard and had some questions. I'm a very OCD person when it comes to electronics. Defects make me go crazy. I was wondering if the problem I had was a defect or if it was normal. Where the cable meets the keyboard, there seems to be some wire crimping (dent in the cable). I attached a photo showing the issue. It's kind of hard to see through a photo but you can see the small indent in the photo. Will this cause problems, or is this normal? Please help.
