  1. Sorry, typing tired makes for poor communication... I have tried the fans connected directly to the power supply, with just a molex to fan converter (known good), other fans run on this cable setup, but the two riings light up but do not spin. I just tried a spare mobo connector, same thing. What's baffling me is that they both died at the same time.
  2. They were connected through a three position fan controller, along with a third fan. Other fans still good and the Riing's have been tested with direct connect to the power supply (molex to fan cable, tests good with other fans). The fan controller is a built-in from Fractal (Define XL 2 case), and I think it has been killed also, I just found when rechecking that it runs full power and 5vdc, but not 7vdc.
  3. Hi all, Just swapped my old power supply for a new Toughpower 750, and upon rebooting the system after routing everything I booted the sytem with slightly crossed fingers (first watercooled system). Anyway, it gave me the oh-so-polite beepcode for ‘plug in the video card, idiot’ and shut down. After correcting my silliness I booted into Windows and everything looked good. That is, until I noticed that the Riing 14’s were lit, but not spinning. All other case fans and the pump are good to go, just the pair of Riings. I have swapped power to a different pair of fans and confirmed that other fans run fine, just louder and without the light. (sad panda time) Any ideas for recovery? TL:DR- fans light up, don’t spin, power good. Any smart fixes? Oh- that's the old power supply.
