  2. I’ve been having my Thermaltake Riing 12 RGB (CL-F042-PL12SW-B) for about a month now and suddenly this happened. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/375445211280572437/490597288985493505/video.mov (use this if video above is not available) Only one fan lights up but the other two doesn’t. Sometimes when I turn on my PC, the other two lights up and turns off. Most of the time, they don’t light up at all when I press the power button. All of them are connected to a fan controller included.
  3. So i spend $100+ on the Riing Plus RGB premium edition just to find out the software is a pain to use, no fan curve, no GPU temp and the modes are not drop down menus so you have to cycle through everything to find your favourite ones. But those are luxury options, WHICH I EXPECTED ON A PREMIUM PRODUCT, but it doesn't bother me that much. But every time my PC wake up from sleep, the RGB fans basically reset to their default lighting mode and becomes unresponsive to the software changes. WHAT. To make the software and RGB fans in sync again, you need to close to software and restart it. This step may sounds simple and it is, but it's just shouldn't be there for a premium product and it annoys the crap out of me. I searched the forum saw these posts: basically the admin says: yeah it's not our problem it's the hardware's limitation. LOL and one of the guy even shows the admin a way possibly and easily to implement a 'reboot' into the software and here i am 1 years later on V1.2.2 nothing changed. What A Joke. Anyway, if anyone else want to solve this problem, i solved it by taking the long route of using AHK and windows 10's task scheduler: 1. download AHK and create a AHK script with following in it: Sleep, 3000 Process, Close, TT RGB Plus.exe Sleep, 2000 Run C:\Program Files (x86)\Tt\TT RGB Plus\TT RGB Plus.exe Sleep, 15000 Process, Close, TT RGB Plus.exe 2. open Task Scheduler -> create basic task -> change trigger to "when i log on" -> start a program -> navigate to your AHK script -> Finish. 3. now find your task in the among the list, double click it, go to triggers, delete the existing ones, click new choose at log on for any user, uncheck all box except for first and last, change delay task to 5 seconds, click ok. 4. click new again, this time choose on workstation unlock for any user, and same check box and timer as previous one, click ok. 5. finally in the settings, the last drop down menu should be stop the existing instance. Now to software should automatically reboot after wake/sign in. Those are just the option worked for me, feel free to improvise as the options are pretty simple to understand. Now thermaltake please fix this problem on your software, is not that hard to implement a reboot sequence. Right now my solution is like i'm taking a crap and realise there are no toilet paper, so i have to get up and grab some from the living room and then wipe my but.

  8. Hi everyone, I want to ask for help in this forum because my challenger prime rgb keyboard stopped working after trying to update the firmware to version 2.0. Now when I connect it does not turn on and in the Windows 10 Device Manager I get error code 43 (Error in a USB device descriptor request) so it does not work anymore and I would like to know how to fix it and install the software again but it does not recognize it and it is totally off. Excuse my English level ... I'm from Argentina.
  9. Hello, We have a wonderful keyboard with original Cherry Mx switches. Thermaltake is a premium company selling excellent quality pc peripherals from long time, hence expectations from them is at par with their competitors, however at the same I found Premium X1 keyboards software is way too weak and buggy compared to competitors like Corsair and Razer's solution. I did not found any way to layer multiple RGB effects with this software and make cool custom lightning profiles. Thermaltake please advise if any possibility / hope of adding this multi layer effects capability with new software update from your end, so that we can have custom lighting profile sharing community like other brands. Thermaltake fans please share your thoughts / expectations about this. Thanks......
  10. TT Sync controller seems to support this and it would be extremely lame if the controller which comes with the Floe Riing RGB 240 TT Premium Edition (oh, that's a long name) didn't. TT Riing Plus RGB sees it and controls the fans, the pump and the LEDs ok, however, none of that is recognized by MSI Mystic Light software. So is it actually possible to control this cooler's RGB with Mystic Light?
  11. Hello, Would you guys be able to release an SDK (Software Development Kit) for the Poseidon Z RGB Mechanical keyboard? I find the official software to be too ugly for my taste, and I would much prefer being able to program the LED's via code instead of using a user-interface. By releasing an SDK, you guys would save me alot of trouble, the past couple of days i've spent trying to set the LED's via the HidApi function HidD_SetFeature(handle, data, length), but it keeps refusing. So i'm gonna try implement libusb-win32 instead because someone said they could get it work. Thanks!
  12. I just bought my Cronos RGB 7.1 headset and really like the quality, but when I activate the lights, there is a loud humming noise in time with the lights settings (Spectrum Running, Pulse Jumping, and Static). Is this supposed to happen? If so, is there a way to turn it off so that you have the lights without the annoying humming noise?

  15. Hello! I've just purchased the Riing Plus 12 TT Premium edition fans 3pack + controller and it has been one infuriating experience. I assumed that hardware would be plug and play but yet I've had to reinstall the software multiple times, try multiple software, use multiple USB ports, open the controller to get access to the hw revision number and experience horrendous product naming conventions! Could you please Shorten your product names Combine your software into a one single program Tell me why the controller cannot detect the fans? (H_0x0001) Controller details are: REV: D03 FAN BOX R02 2016/11/09 My system details: 8700K Asus Strix z370-F 32 GB DDR4 3466 Galax GTX 1080Ti Exoc EKWB A240G Fluidgaming I've read the forums, I've tested out the suggestions here and from around the web to no avail. Please help! Thanks Tyler
  16. Hello everyone, I have a question, that was asked on an older product of thermaltake(I believe it was the Riing rgb) . I saw, that the Thermaltake Riing Plus RGB TT premium fans come in a pack of 3 fans most of the time and a controller box, where you can put 3 fans on it. In my new pc I would like to put 6 of them in the case (3 for watercooling) and also the pump Pacific PR22-D5 Plus. Now to my question. If I put 3 controllers boxes in my pc, are they all 3 synchronized or do I have to buy extra cables to put all 7 in one controller box, if so which cable is it? thanks in advance for all tips and answers.
  17. I was unsure where to put this topic. So i just threw it here seemed appropriate. So i have purchased a view 31 case, and a riing premium watercooler 240 in which i do not know where to get the software to control my RGB. Can anyone link me a place to download the software for these? Thanks.
  18. So I installed my first set of 3 Riing 12's with a controller and connected the controller to be Motherboard. I recently bought a second set of 3 and wanted to know if I could just find a 4pin to molex adapter and connect the controller to my PSU instead of my motherboard? Since the fan speeds are controlled by the thermaltake controller I would think there wouldn't be anything that I am loosing by doing this? Thanks for the help!
  19. I bought the Tt Challenger Prime RGB Combo earlier this year, and besides some minor inconveniences I was actually pretty satisfied, but now my mouse can't use the RGB colors anymore? When I switch from static colors to RGB in order to set up a custom static color, it just deactivates the lights alltogether. I've already looked up the mouse controls in case I was doing it wrong, but it just plain turns off the lights when I press the keys to switch to RGB. What's wrong here?
  20. The Riing Plus RGB Software, that is listed on the Fans page.. is downloading as a .RAR file Come onn TT !
  21. Hi everyone, I have a challenger prime rgb keyboard and mosue combo, but the keyboard isnt working since 2 weeks ago, works fine on others computer but not on mine. Can anyone help with this issue? I cant even re-install the software because it doesnt recognise the keyboard is plugged in. Thanks
  22. Hi all, Just completed a new build and turned it on for the first time. I have the Thermaltake Floe Riing 360. It has 3 RGB fans. The waterblock and the 3 fans all light up. When I booted my computer on for the first time, the fans didn't spin. Should I be concerned? I am not sure if they only spin based on temp or that they should be spinning some on PC boot. If it helps, the other 3 case fans (2 are plugged into chas headers and 1 is plugged into CPU_OPT) are spinning
  23. Hello tt community, recently I tried to make a Macro for an Street Fighter like game, but unfortunatly, It didnt work. Please help.
  24. Hello everyone, hope your day is going well, I just have problem with my build and I need help. This is my first time building a PC. The issue is i can not get the RGB function of the fans or CPU connector to work. The pictures below give you an idea of the issue. I have plugged in every cable to the correct ports and connections. Specs: Intel core i7 7700k ASUS ROG Maximus IX Formula Corsair LPX vengance RAM Thermaltake FLOE Riing RGB TT Premium Thank you in advance!!
  25. EATX DRAMA!! So I was drawn in by the sweet pictures of this case and did a lot of research to see if this would be a good fit for my incoming EATX Rampage VI board After ripping everything out of my V51 case and fitting mobo into the View 71 I discovered that its not the best for EATX. I currently have the Rampge IV Black edition. The holes for running cables through to back of case are UNDER the edge of the extended board. I can't believe I missed this when researching. Usually I run the 24 pin through to the back to reduce cabling, but now I have to run all cables on mobo side of inner case. So annoyed. The Specs on the TT site state it is EATX compatible, but this is a fail. See attached pic
