  1. First time posting here, please forgive me if i posted the wrong format. Brief introduction of myself: Im currently a student, casual pc enthusiast who love watercooling too much and started a little bit of modding as a hobby. Got my first ever sponsor from Andy Thermaltake using my first ever build as a proposal (View 71 - JY71, build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tb3BALoAl4Y&lc=z23xdhowhybterurz04t1aokg52qnykfhp5bfgcsc0cbrk0h00410). Big fan of thermaltake, great products, got sponsorship, dream comes true, life is complete . Core p90 is such an excellent chassis and i'm so fortunate to get this chassis from thermaltake. No doubt 101% effort is going to put into this build! Mod on! Sponsored items! How crazy!! Core P90, such a sexy lady. Chrome Fittings. How elegant. Disassembled the chassis. Figuring out radiator mounting. Meow. Decided to cut out a part of the chassis and make radiator mounting using aluminium frame. Cleaning out the edges using dremel. definitely have to show off every parts that "involved" in watercooling. Bend dem tubes! Always my favourite part of building a pc, which is watercooling. Thermaltake V-Tubler is superb to work with! Holes for pass through fittings. Black and Chrome. No other colours can beat this duo!!! My core P90 backside woopssss! Smexy bare-back!
  2. Hi guys, I've linked 4 GPU's to my 1200W Power Supply Unit and I wanted to link the 5th GPU but then I noticed the PCE-I ports were all full. So I was asking myself if there is a thermaltake kabel for linking to GPU to PSU from an 8-pins port from the GPU to a 6-pins port on the PSU. Or isn't it even possible to connect the GPU to another port of 6-pins, which normally uses the 8-pins PCE-I ports? Are there any alternatives to link my 5th GPU to my PSU and motherboard? Motherboard type Z270A SLI Plus MSI. I would like to hear your advice, yours sincerely, Jorgocoin from Holland

  4. Hey guys. This is something I've been planning to do for nearly two years now, and it's finally coming to a head. As some of you may have seen, I recently put together a custom reservoir to sit in the window of a Thermaltake Core P5. You can find the thread detailing how that all happened here . So after much debate between choosing X299 or X399, I eventually opted for Threadripper. I wanted a build I was sure would continue to be supported for years to come, and I didn't feel that I could get that out of Intel (Plus I didn't want to delid). So here are the parts! I ordered these during one of Ebay's 20% off sales, so most of them were a pretty good deal. The parts are as follows: Threadripper 1950x Asus ROG Zenith Extreme Strix GTX 1080ti Gaming TeamGroup Vulcan ram (64gb 3000mhz) Samsung 250gb Evo M.2 SSD Thermaltake 850w DPS Titanium (Only PSU with theRiing fan and two EPS outlets) Some Riing fans for the radiator And of course, the Core P5. I'll be using some HDD's from my current computer when it's time to migrate to this one. The first thing I did was put everything together and test the system. I decided to shove the 1080ti straight into my current build and pull the R9 290x out of that one so I could enjoy those high refresh rates straight away. We have ignition! Windows was successfully installed! It was time to focus on the more aesthetic side of things. I figured, if I was going to put this much effort into this build, I may as well have a symbol/logo done up to match the PC's name. I contacted a graphic designer located in Queensland called Sam Johnston (He has a business page if anyone's interested. Would recommend). Within a week I had a fully-fledged logo! I'm lucky that at work we have a laser cutter on hand. Here I am testing a few different power levels before etching the window. And here's the real deal. I decided to etch it backwards so that it would retain the gloss from the front side of the window. And not long after. Here it is after a quick cleanup. And finally after a polish. Not long after this, my water cooling equipment arrived from Bitspower. All bar the pump mount, which I unfortunately forgot. Hello extra $35 shipping. I tell you what, I feel that Bitspowerdon't get the recognition they deserve. Look at the quality of these blocks. Opps, forgot to take a photo of these ones with the wrapping off. While the waterblocks were great, I did have an issue with the radiator. I find it unfortunate that Bitspower stopped producing the single-sided version of the 480 radiator, and have opted for a double-sided model only. This produced a problem when mounting it to the P5 as I'm sure you can clearly see here. The Core P5 is flat on the side I need to mount the radiator to. But I had a solution in mind. Little bit of silicone and they were sitting pretty. Just shove em in. And wipe the excess away! Now I do love Bitspower, but one thing that irks me about them is the fact that all their plexi products have a frosted finish. I much prefer how EK does this with their crystal clear blocks. Thankfully, polishing acrylic isn't something that's particularly difficult. Before: And after: Before: And after: Before: And after: This was by far the worst part. I forgot to take photos of the ram blocks, but I did get a few before and after shots of the ram sticks themselves. At this stage, I ordered some cables fromCablemod. I quite like the scheme I came up with. They arrived not long after. Shortly thereafter, my pumps and liquid metal arrived. Naan Bread always looks at me like I've just asked her to hang out the washing.Unfortunately I didn't order enough sleeving. I sleeved up one of the pumps, but had to order more sleeving for the other. I couldn't find anyone selling Alphacord in Australia, so I opted for a knock-off vinyl sleeve from eBay. It was not good. I'll post photos of that later, but it looks like I'll have to order more Alphacord from overseas. Money money Next up was attaching the monoblock to the motherboard. Not a bad idea, Asus. Liquid metal is awfully pretty. And hard to figure out how to apply for someone who's never used it before. I got there eventually. And that's where I'm up to for now! Looks pretty good I reckon. I've got a few more parts on the way. Not much more I can do for now until they arrive.

I started the project about a month ago and have been working on it as I get time after work and on the weekends. So, first lets take a look at the case.. Now lets trim the fat and see what is left.. ya, not much left lol..but I can easily attach panels to this..so..I started making panels

  13. I purchased this power supply on july 14th but I was only able to test it on August 21st because I had to wait for it to arrive my country so I couldn't return it to Amazon on time. It worked fine for about 2-3 hours when suddenly my PC shutdown itself,I thought I was having electricity problems but the rest of my devices continued working fine. I Tried to power on the system again but nothing happened. I disconnected my GPU and tried to power on again, this time the system start working but after a few moments it shutdown again. I continued disconnecting things until there was only a a fan connected, only then the power supply was able to keep working. This make me believe that I was unlucky enough to end with a defective unit that can't bare to supply even the power required by the CPU. I contacted Thermaltake , and they agreed to RMA the PSU but the RMA process was a waste of time and money. I asked them if the cover the shipping costs and they said that I had to pay the shipping to them but that they will send back the product at no cost to me. I don't live in the US but I made that clear from the beginning and I filled the contact form with the information from my country, that didn't seem to be a problem to them at the time so I decided to send them the PSU. The shipping cost me around 27 dollars but that still was cheaper than buying a new PSU keeping in mind that the would send it back for free. When the PSU arrive to Thermaltake location I didn't receive any notification, I wai a couple of days and then contacted them, I didn't get any answer until a few days later when they told me that there was nothing wrong with the PSU, which is odd because I tested it with 2 different PC but I was willing to trusted them and took it back. The problem was that they weren't willing to honor their word on the free shipment to my country, they told me that they could only offer me free shipping to Florida but if I wanted my PSU to be shipped to my country I have to pay for it. I will buy a new PSU from another company. mozilla.pdf

  15. Hey guys, I have the TT Core P3 SE and I want to install the GPU vertically. I've heard bad reviews about the TT riser cable, do any of you have the same case and an aftermarket riser that works flawlessly? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated! 16. The Original CyberMods Halo RAIJIN Build: After finishing our CyberMods Competition build called RAIJIN we wanted to do a new build using the hardware and other parts we had. Clockwerk Industries and I both felt RAIJIN had some really cool hardware and watercooling. It was also my first time using Thermaltake gear in a long time. I liked it so much I wanted to give another build a shot using all Thermaltake Parts and watercooling. Once the rest of the gear arrives I will assemble everything and decide which direction the build should go. I do know there will be some awesome mods, sick hardware and some amazing Thermaltake goodness. Currently we are planning on continuing the RAIJIN case mod in the Thermaltake Core P5 instead of the Core P3 we used during the competition. You'll be able to see some of the mods we didn't have time for as well as some new ones. To make things easy to reference we will call this build RAIJIN V2.
