First of all, my name is Edwin. I have only purchased 1 computer in my life and the rest after that were home builds, my home builds. Only I knew exactly what I needed and how to get it, and that was to build my own. Never realized there was a market for this sort of thing until recently, so, here I am with my present build using a Core V71 case. The list of individual parts I plan to use is as follows; Thermaltake Core V71 case MSI Z97 Gamer 5 motherboard Intel i7 4790k Devils Canyon quad core 8 thread CPU ADATA 16Gbs (2 x 8Gbs) DDR3 2400 RAM Geforce GTX 970 video card (x2) Custom cooling loop utilizing cooling blocks, fittings, tubing and coolant from EK and other manufacturers(to be completely listed as used) Silverstone SST-ST70F-ESG 700W PSU RGB lighting (haven't made a decision yet, but will list later when used). I have nothing better to do with my time but to make my life easier and the pursuit of entertainment, in this case, gaming. I am a disabled-vet and I can't explain the enjoyment and happiness I experience when I complete a build for someone seeking my assistance and knowledge to get them exactly what they need. This build, however, is mine, all mine! The parts have started to arrive....

Hi, just bought a V71 and had great fun to put my X99 ultra gaming, H110 watercooling, 32Go ram, i7, 9 HDD etc. Everything was perfect until I realize that my 3 200mm fans wasnt working. I tried to connect them directly to mobo and it works, but when I use the front pannel supposed to control them nothing happened (no led is switched on). I connected the supply with the 2 pins molex to my mobo but nothing happens. Dunno why... I tried all connectioncs 3 or 4 pins on mobo, it works... Any help ?

So I just built my 1st PC. Been researching for couple years, putting it off an putting it off.. Any way. Yesterday I built my computer. In my v71 case. Everything has been working fine. Well I powed on my tower an all sudden fan LEDs got real dim. And the Switch turn turn off and on the fan LEDs does nothing. Things I have tried to do to fix: Unplugged each fan an directly pluged them into my motherboard system fan plugins Results: each fan does what it is supposed to do. But the blue LEDs on each fan are very dim. So I unscrewed the circuit board with the fan controls, reset button, and led on/of switch. Under the pannel it looks like where the solder is for the LED switch is fries an looks burned up.. In conclusion my switch does not for to turn off leds, All 3 of my fans LEDs are now ruined.. I ordered my case from B&H Any one know if it's possible to speak with a representative to get my fans an that swich panel replaces with out having to undo my build... I put a lot into my build. Took forever to get everything clean an tidy an I don't want to have to redo it all...

I have bought yesterday the V71 piece of art and I am very satisfied with the level of customizability and the ease of how you can personalize it, BUT... I have an issue with the fan controller. It doesn't work. I tried to find some explanations for this problem, I triple checked the connections to the motherboard but I can't figure out what is wrong. Everything else works: the reset button, the power button, USB slots, but those fan control buttons. The workaround for the fans to work is to connect them directly to the MB, but I want to have the full experience with this Chassis. Please help. Thank you!
