  1. Video of pc build for my friend. Case used: Core V21.
  2. I bought Thermaltake Core V21 chassis last year and I was very happy with its unique and versatile design. However, last week I have just found out that the power button seems to be broken. I have to press it so hard to turn on my pc. So I want to know that there are any spare part (new I/O panel) sold separately (FYI: I live in Thailand). I don't want to buy a new one. Thank you.

  5. Hi, Hoping this is the right place. I'm looking for ideas to improve/replace the front panel of the Core V21. Its just my opinion but I think its really ugly :-( wondering if anyone has done anything about it. Would love some ideas. Thanks
  6. Here's my current build. I'm enjoying the overclocking, but I will be going with a non-OC build next, as I don't really get too hot and bothered by additional power when all I do is browse and game. I'll be purchasing a Core V21, replacing my Corsair H110i GT with an H80i, and I'm in the midst of adding an H55 to my R9 290 using a Kraken G10 bracket. The CPU will be replaced by an i5 4690, and the mobo with a Gigabyte GA-H97M. My question is, will the H80i, the H55, and the new build all fit in a V21 along with an exhaust fan? I'm not looking for top-tier performance, I just would like a smaller build that has lower temperatures than it would have with stock coolers, and the option of using higher quality fans (Noctua maybe?) to replace the stock fans on the two AIOs and case fan. The reason I'm not using an air cooler for the CPU is because I will be moving the build often (for LAN parties, or to different rooms of the house, or when I go to a friend's house), and I just enjoy the look and usage of an AIO.
  7. Hi Folks, When I connect an enclosed 2.5" HDD via my front USB 3 ports the drive connects, disconnects, and reconnects repeatedly. I have a Core V21 and I am using a USB 3.0 20 Pin Internal Header MF Extension Cable Low Profile Connector. (The extension cable is for cable management and because the Core V21 front panel cable is extremely stiff. The cable torqued the header so much I thought it might break off the motherboard.) When I connect the drive to the USB 3 ports on the motherboard the drive connects and stays connected without any trouble. Incidentally, connecting a USB thumb drive or my phone to the front port gives me no problems. I tried a bunch of Windows and bios tweaks for USB power management and legacy support but the only thing that maintains the connectivity is using the USB 3 ports on the motherboard. Could this be due to the overall length of the connection, i.e., the extension cable makes the overall cable length too long for USB 3? I haven't tested the ports without the extension cable because of the difficulty in disconnecting USB 3 headers. And, I don't have a really short USB 3 cable. The overall length (header extension cable -> internal case cable -> USB 3 HDD cable) is probably 2 meters max. Could the extension cable be faulty for USB 3 (my enclosed HDD) but fully functional for USB 2 (thumb drives and phone)? Anyone else have this trouble? Thanks for any advice or solutions!!
  8. I started to build a system featuring the RL-240 Water Cooling Kit and the amazing Core V21 case. For a while I had a problem figuring out just where and how to mount the large pump/reservoir. I did a bit of custom mounting... easy... just a few holes... so I've decided to share the build up to this point. I have a few 90 Degree fittings on order to make my life a bit easier... Note: You can even adjust the pump speed easily as the adjustment dial is exposed thru a cutout in the front (already available). The mount for the far end of the reservoir is made from 2 old expansion slot covers. Edit: Now Painted Black.
