  1. I want to do push/pull with Riing Plus 12s. Is there any way to change the direction of air flow so both fans can be oriented with LED side outwards?
  2. Sorry for my english. The cuestion is, i lost the cable led-in to argb motherboard msi. anybody can help me to know the pinout for this cable (led in to argb msi 5v) to make a one to replace the lost. i live in Cuba and its imposible buy a new one. Thanks to everyone.
  3. Hi, how do I make them go fast it's to hot in here! haha Can I control the speed of the fans? how do I tell which fan I am effecting? Can I control the speed of the water pump? Yes I have the TTRGPPlus app running and it shows 5 instances of... fans? I can set two of those instances to PWM and get them to run at 100% but the other three instances onl;y give me rgb control, no speed control. full specz: i7 8700K 3.7 8TH / MSI B360-A PRO / CRUCIAL 32GB (X216s) / Samsung 970 PRO 1TB M.2 2280 NVME / VENTUS X3 3060RTX / thermaltake floe riing rgb 360 tt premium
  4. Hey folks: Looking for a little advice. I recently completed my new build. Tower 900 running a dozen Riing Plus 12 fans for cooling. After a minor psychotic breakdown with trying to debug what I thought was a software issue(turned out to be a #### daisy chain cable) I have all 12 working in every mode but audio. It keeps telling me the audio source could not be received. What am I missing here? Aside from the audio issue. I have no complaints with fans
  5. Hello, Apparently a lot of people are having trouble with the riing plus, but mine is a bit weird though I was having the same problem regarding the riing plus controller compatibility with ryzen. Contacted the local distributor and they sent me the new controller which is compatible and it did work. So I thought everything was solved, but not quite ... The next day, when I turned my pc on, the riing software gave a warning that no controller found with error code H_0x0001. I tried to unplug the cable and reconnect everything and restarted the pc but it still gave me the same error. I tried the detecting application that the distributor sent me previously, and it said 'no devices found!' Did my (new) controller just died?
  6. ThermalTake Currently incase customers didn't know, the Riing Plus software looks at the system temperatures for it's PWM feature of it's fans and it looks like it takes an average and uses that for it's PWM feature Therefore clearly they only intended them to be used for case fans rather than CPU cooling fans on Radiators or heatpipe blocks Annoyingly there the best fans on the market and consumers are not aware of this when making their purchase, for me personally i based it on the fans trait on high static pressure which are used for radiators. My case will never reach 50c inside the case, it's an open case for a start, my gpu and cpu are on water my computer room is 21c or less in the UK currently as it's winter Please ThermalTake Either change your software so we get the option of using the CPU temperature for your fans, or edit the HWiNFO32.dll to point at the CPU temp only. my cpu is sitting at 30ish c at idle but your software thinks the system is at 48c when i just turned the computer on and haven't done anything intensive. It's just annoying because the fans spin up when it gets to 50c without the cpu even having to work hard at all. I'm sure other customers will back me up and agree that case fans are usually set at a static rpm range, my setup uses 2 360 rads with 6 of these fans on them and they do get loud for no reason, i cant turn them down because i want my cpu and gpu to use PWM fans as their attached to the raditors Thanks a lot rant over here is the hardware monitor ------------HWi32_GetSensorName:System: GIGABYTE 7. Hi, Is it possible to sync the PSU RGBs with Asus Aura or any addressable RGB software WITHOUT using the tt riing software? I have a TT Sync Controller Premium which I was using to control my AIO Floe Riing 360.. then I happily bought the Thoughpower iRGB 1200w thinking in connect it to my TT Sync Controller and then, my nightmare started. I couldn't find a single way to control it through Asus Aura... the only way I found was remove my TT Sync Control.. install the original control that came with Floe riing and install the tt riing software which I never wanted since the begin. TT Riing software is lame.. no fan curve lines.. nothing.. just a fance DJ Trance light table... My initial idea when I bought TT devices was to sync everything with Asus Aura using TT Sync Controller Premium.. I know it was my fault buy the Toughpower iRGB without checking if it was compatible with the Sync Controller Anyone have any good suggestion? RMA the PSU and buy another one? A micro usb to 9 pin usb head cable to connect on TT Sync Controller Premium instead to connect to USB 2.0 mobo? Whats the propose in create so many tt devices that are not compatible among themselves? Also the PSU RGB now and then.. switches off.. then Im forced to open the TT riing software..change the profile to get my PSU rgbs back on. Also the DPS software auto starts with windows all the time even when I disable it everywhere... it stills open on startup.. but the TT Riing Software that I really need to startup with windows.. never does.. Ive tried everything. Thnks!
  8. Hi there Purchased the 3x pack of Riing Plus 12 fans, and connected them up, and like many other users, I'm not able to get the Riing Plus software to open, so I can't control the fans. I sent an email through to TT support but have not heard back in a week or more. System is a Ryzen 5 1600 with a Taichi X370. I know there's some talk that the controller needs to be replaced with a compatible one? Grateful for any assistance!
  9. Hi, I just bought a set of 3 Riing Plus 14 TT Premium fans with controller, and installed everything. All fans light up in changing colors, all but one fans start rotating (different issue). I then installed the software (first the wrong Riing RGB software (which couldn't find the controller), then the correct software). However, the Riing Plus software doesn't start. Or, to be precise: After starting the software, the Task Manager shows that "TT Riing Plus RGB (32bit)" is running. But nothing happens. No windows pops up, I cannot see/click/configure anything. The software uses 23 MB of RAM, and that's it. Any hint on what I could do in order to get the software working would be highly appreciated! Thanks.
  10. Hello, I'm having issues running the software for the Riing Plus fans on my Ryzen rig. Software says it doesn't detect a controller even though it's plugged in. I've tried using a mirco usb to usb cable to see if that works, it didn't. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? Here are my specs, if ever it's needed. 11. Just wondering if anyone has fixed the issue everyone is having with Ryzen compatibility? I know my controller cable is connected proper, I hear a connected tone from Windows. It also says USB device has been connected and ready for use. However, when I try to open the program. It is listed in my task manager, and the icon on the bottom right is showing. But beyond that, nothing happens. Program opens when I disconnect the controller cable, found this out from these forums. But of course it says nothing is connected. I've messaged the admins myself, waiting on a response. But anyone with more information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks everyone for the time. - Frustrated Riing Plus 12 user
  12. To all Ryzen and Riing Plus owners. 1. There is a workaround so the Riing Plus software will load and you can start making profiles. Connect the controller using a Micro-USB cable to a USB port on the back of your motherboard. This will allow the software to load. Notice, not all ports work for everyone, so try more that just one. 2. Please like this post, and request support (here: http://my.thermaltake.com/csTech.aspx) so thermaltake can start noticing the Ryzen users. This bug needs to get fixed SOON!! it has been more than TWO months!! BTW. I did send a request but did not get "a satisfactory response within 24/48 hours " I got nothing yet. So post below if you did request support and post your replay if you get any. Thanks.
  13. Hey all, Sorry if it has been mentioned somewhere else but I am just wondering if anyone knows if there are plans to upgrade the Riing fans in the PSU's to the Riing Plus fans? Just seems to make sense that they would. - Clawz
  14. I tried install and reinstall for like 20 times the software cannot recognize the fans and causes my system to crash. Can I return it and have my money back? I trusted your brand coz i am using your psu and your case. But your fans are fail. So fail. I even download the mobile software and it also fail. I really don't know what to say. I spend 2 days checking my system and everything and realize it's the fans. The fans and the leds are working but I cannot control the speed and the lighting. Might be a faulty control unit or something.
  15. So when I got these fans I was hoping to have just a little bit more control over what the leds do. I think for me the only thing missing is the color options for the "flow" mode. Instead of it covering the RGB spectrum why not allow us to choose which colors overlap. I can see that the software is designed only to select the colors of the individual leds, but why not add a "color/order" mode in addition to just the color selection, similar to how NZXT does their software (sorry for bringing up the competition). HOPE SOMEONE SEES THIS.
  16. Hi All, I've been thinking of picking up some RGB fans for my watercooling setup. Before I buy something, I always do my homework. Previously, I was thinking of getting NZXT AER RGB's, They are also about 30$ a pop, but their RGB light ring would be facing the rad(and defeat the purpose of RGB) if I did push-pull. I happened on TT's Riing line, but their product line is confusing and all over the place. So I dove in and tried to make sense of the situation. Please feel free to correct me if I have any details incorrect. Here is a summary of my findings so far. There are three lines of RGB fans: Riing RGB(12cm/14cm), Ring Premium RGB (12cm/14cm) and Ring Plus Premium RGB (12cm only). All are advertised as high static pressure and suitable for radiator use. The software for the Riing Premium and Riing Plus seems to suck pretty badly compared to other vendors. Note: Do not beleive Tt's pictures of the Riing RGB and Riing Premium RGB fan pictures. These fans CANNOT show more than one color on a fan at one time!! This feature is only available on the Riing Plus. macst34 Riing RGB: - Central Light guide which shows leds from both sides of the fan (as opposed to AER) - Individual Leds are NOT addressable, so one fan can only show one color for all LEDs at one time. - fans use proprietary 5 pin connector to hub - Simple 3 button controller hub (3 fans per hub) ; can daisy chain controller hubs. Riing RGB premium - Central Light guide - Individual Leds are NOT addressable, so one fan can only show one color for all LEDs at one time. - fans use proprietary 5 pin connector to hub; Fan motor seems to be the same as Ring RGB fans - USB controller hub / no buttons software control only (3 fans per hub) ; can daisy chain controller hubs. - uses "Ring RGB Tt Premium Edition" software, current version 2.1.2 - *seems the software hub and fan fin profile are the major differences compared to the Riing RGB line. Riing Plus RGB premium - Central Light guide - Individual Leds are addressable, the fan can show different colors LEDs at same time on a single fan. - proprietary 9 pin connector to hub - USB controller (different from Riing RGB premium) - uses "Ring Plus RGB Tt Premium Edition" software, current version 1.0.2 - no 14cm size.
