  6. Hi Everybody, I'm Tom from sunny Birmingham, UK. I work as a software engineer / web developer which I've been doing since university and mainly play PC games and run in my spare time. Been building and modding computers since around 15. My first mod was a side window cut-out and blue CCFL tube lighting, was so proud of that at the time (simpler times). Started water cooling at university on an overlclocked Q6600 which kicked out a lot of heat and kept it up ever since. Current PC is an ITX build with a 280mm and 120mm rad which has been a little workhorse / hotbox for the past year.
  7. Hi folks! I'm new on the forums here but I figured I'd show of my latest project. This is my second real mod, my last mod Allspark was a lot of fun and I won 3rd place in Dreamhacks casemod championship which really gave me a taste for modding. Right now I have two more projects going on but as I said, here's my latest that I finished last month. Shoutout to @Egxi who has been an awesome teacher in terms of how to make a custom-loop and have been teaching me how to bend copper-pipes! Thank you SO much your guidance has been invaluable! (And for doing that insane bend behind the mon

  10. Hey guys wanted to share my project code named: Red 27 made possible with support from Thermaltake a company that truly supports modding!! This is a freestyle mod done in the view 27 enclosure. When I saw this case I had to do a build in it, and I wasn't disappointed. It has such a unique yet familiar layout and with the vertical gpu mount, its so easy to show of your super expensive graphics card you worked so hard to pay for lol. Now I am still waiting on a couple things to finish up the loop, but should be here anytime. Specs: Case: Thermaltake View 27 CPU: intel i7-4790k MOBO: ASUS

  16. Good Time of the day everyone! I would like to share my own experience of connecting Riing RGB fans together in 1 controller. This guide will divide in two parts: One of them is how to connect 4 fans in 1 controller, using only your hands and pin extractor (or any thin tools like needle). Second part will be about connecting up to 6 fans using same tools as in first case plus 4-pin Molex cable and electric tape (or shrinking tube or soldering iron + tape). A little Preface: Why I decided to divide in two parts? The answer is very simple. MB in most cases provides 12V @1Amp. Usuall

  18. Hello, so somehow this novice of a modder has been chosen to be one of the five competitors in this years Thermaltake Modding Trophy! Words cannot describe how much this means to me nor could I tell you the challenge ahead this brings to me as newcomer on the modding scene, I sure feel like I have a lot to prove! My design of course got me in to the competition and that is what I call '20th Century TT' so let me tell you where the idea came from although it's pretty obvious to most. As soon as I heard the competition was Thermaltake's 20th anniversary the 20th Century Fox movie st
  19. Greetings to all, On July 8, 2018 I bought a Thermaltake Core V71 Tower in Spain and I arrived in Colombia at the end of August, so a couple of weeks ago I was able to start with the installation and assembly of my computer parts, All the parts of the computer are Thermaltake brand (source, heatsinks, liquid cooling, etc ...) once the assembly was made in the Tower Thermaltake Core V71, there was a problem when performing the ignition and is that the three (3) Fan (heatsinks) of 200mm that brings this Tower located in the Front and top part DOES NOT ROTATE, just turn on the LEDs. 23. First time posting here, please forgive me if i posted the wrong format. Brief introduction of myself: Im currently a student, casual pc enthusiast who love watercooling too much and started a little bit of modding as a hobby. Got my first ever sponsor from Andy Thermaltake using my first ever build as a proposal (View 71 - JY71, build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tb3BALoAl4Y&lc=z23xdhowhybterurz04t1aokg52qnykfhp5bfgcsc0cbrk0h00410). 24. Hey guys. This is something I've been planning to do for nearly two years now, and it's finally coming to a head. As some of you may have seen, I recently put together a custom reservoir to sit in the window of a Thermaltake Core P5. You can find the thread detailing how that all happened here . So after much debate between choosing X299 or X399, I eventually opted for Threadripper. I wanted a build I was sure would continue to be supported for years to come, and I didn't feel that I could get that out of Intel (Plus I didn't want to delid). So here are the parts! I ordered these during o
