Hyperkilljoy Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Just received my gaming mouse from amazon and i was very excited to get a high end mouse. i hooked it up and went online to get the up to date drivers and everything was fine until i updated firmware and now my mouse won't move unless it's about half an inch off my desk AND it is super slow and jittery (could be jittery because it's in my hand half an inch off the ground but i hold it still and it jitters across screen) It seems like the mouse is locked, but i switched the button on the bottom to unlocked. any ideas?? EVERYTHING worked fine until firmware update :-( EDIT: Tried it on different computers, same way. It needs to be like half an inch off the surface to move. It wasnt like that before the firmware update. :-( do i have to RMA it or is there a way to fix the firmware as the mouse still works it just doesnt move unless it's a tad off the surface. Make sure you get the correct file for the specific model you have. If you need any additional help, let us know what model you purchase and we can check it out. Hyperkilljoy Posted August 1, 2014 Author Report Posted August 1, 2014 do you guys have a guide on re-flashing? mo-trn006dt is the model the firmware updater says no need to update, so there must be a different tool? EDIT: the firmware that it came with it worked great, i was dumb and updated everything :-( if re-flashing the update doesnt work, is there a way to go back to the first firmware? Quote
ThermalMike Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 There is only the one firmware update tool I am aware. Have you installed the Lift off tool? Try making some adjustments and see if it helps. I will check with our team as well, just looking for a quick fix for you to avoid RMA to resolve. Keep us posted if you find out anything else. Then the firmware update came and every thing started to work fine. But now for the past couple of months, again, the mouse started to give problems like, registering no click or double clicks when clicking single time. Can somebody tell what should I do? mindys Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 I have the same problem. The mouse does not respond to movement, but oddly enough the left and right click and side buttons work. Tried everything I can think of (reinstall drivers, the software, use the tools on the Theron mouse page), but nothing helps. I also noticed that the dragon symbol on the mouse is very faintly illuminated. I am guessing this is the firmware update problem. I am disappointed by the software using with this mouse. I got the mouse about 2 months ago. If I could get the older firmware to try I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Tte Jeff 1 Quote

But they were responsive when i bought the mouse a month ago. But the left and right click as well as the scroll button are working. My theron is working like an ordinary mouse with no extra buttons. I downloaded all the files (driver/software/firmware) from tt website. After i installed the firmware update, my mouse stopped working. The curser is not moving, though the side buttons are working. I can right & left click but the cursor doesn't move ( it moves just a bit when i hover the mouse). Is there a way to revert to the original firmware? Can we flash it? Quote
