syfer
So I purchased a system from iBuyPower that uses this chassis. All of the RGB in the system can be controlled by the motherboard software. The motherboard is an ASUS and AURA sync is being used to control it. The issue is that the front fans are not changing color to match the other RGB. As far as I can tell, the fans RGB is not able to be controlled by the motherboard. I have long pressed the R button and saw the fans flash. However, after flashing, they just turn off (no color at all). Does anyone have any ideas about what could be going on? User error? Something not connected?
Tt Thompson
Hi, syfer Can you identify a PCB fan hub behind the motherboard look like this, and check if there is a cable coming out from the connector in red circle? There should be a cable connecting the PCB to motherboard in order to SYNC the front fan with M/B software.
syfer
Thank you for your reply. I was able to find that assembler never connected the cable needed from the fans to the motherboard. Once this was done, everything worked.
