chaosdevil22
For some reasons when I installed Windows 8.1 on my system and install the fan control software, the fan profiles that I set no longer have any effect on the speed of the fans. Is there anything that I can do that can fix this issue?

chaosdevil22
fan profile works ok with our fans after installed win 8.1? I mean the original fans come with cooler I'm able to change the speed of the fans via the manual fan controller in the software, it's just that the fan profiles don't work. The fans always run at max speed

dragon0269
Hey I had the same thing happen when I installed 8.1 pro. Just uninstall the fan control and reinstall it and you should be good. A couple of problems you might run into depending on your motherboard and the software that comes with it. If you run the fan control software when you go from customer to let say to extreme and back to custom you might run into a problem with it not switching back this I found out with testing on my own rig is due to the software that came with my hero 7 M.B So you can use one or the other but not both as if you try to run both you will lose your fan control and cpu temperature will also disappear on you as well in the fan control. But if you run into something outside of that let me know. I did a week worth of testing setting up different ways and crashing on purpose to see where the problems were and figuring out how to fix them.
