Can't screw a Deepcool Captain 360 to a Thermaltake Core V71

Hello everyone,

this is my first attempt to build a PC. I'm having trouble #### the CPU cooler inside the tower. The CPU cooler I have is a 'Deepcool Captain 360' and the tower I have is a 'Thermaltake Core V71'. Has anyone installed a Deepcool Captain 360 before in their Thermaltake Core V71? If so, could anyone talk me through it? Also I have tried placing the CPU cooler on top of the tower (outside) but the box on the end of the tubes wont fit through the gap holes.

Many thanks.

P.S I have attached pictures of the tower and CPU cooler. post-99954-0-38892100-1455555885_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-36680300-1455555923_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-36510300-1455555948_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-05244500-1455555971_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-40959300-1455555997_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-29460300-1455556017_thumb.jpgpost-99954-0-46712500-1455556049_thumb.jpg

Hello,

Thanks for the pictures to show.

You would need to remove the optical drive, which I see you still have installed if you want to add a 360 on the top.

The Core V71 is not directly designed for fitment of the radiator on the top section, only fans (Unless you want to modify the frame)

For the picture of you showing the radiator pushed all the way to the back side, you would need to move it up front (Toward window panel) for it to fit.

I dont really understand from the pictures why the radiator will not move more forward, give some details please so we can try and help.

I have personally worked with the V71 and enjoy the chassis very much.

Here is a picture of my V71 with the Radiator mounted in the top section. (I had to modify the frame for the ports to fit)
