Sa Mod Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 Worklog Update #24 – Custom GPU Mount In today’s update, I’m showing the custom mounting stand for the GPU. Since the graphics card will be placed in a fairly unconventional position, a standard solution wouldn’t have worked. For this reason, I designed and built a fully custom support, tailored specifically to fit the layout and ensure both stability and proper alignment. This piece is essential not just structurally, but also to maintain a clean and intentional look within the build. In the photo, you can also catch a small glimpse of the GPU details — nothing too revealing yet, but a preview of what’s coming next. Quote
Sa Mod Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 Worklog Update #25 – GPU Customization (Full Process Video) Today’s update is a special one. The build is now essentially complete, but before revealing the final result, I wanted to focus on one of the key elements of the project: the custom GPU. In this update, I’m sharing the full video covering the entire customization process, made possible thanks to the Palit Maker program. The video walks through every stage: From the initial 3D printing of the custom parts To sanding and surface preparation Then moving into spray painting And finally the hand-painted detailing that brings everything together The video ends with a full cinematic reveal of the GPU, along with a few subtle glimpses of the complete build, just enough to hint at what’s coming next. The full system reveal is coming tomorrow, with the final post of the worklog. Here you can find the video of the process on YouTube: Stay tuned, we’re at the finish line. Quote
Sa Mod Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Worklog Final Update – DOOM: The Dark Ages Mod And here we are — the final reveal. What started as a concept has now become a complete build. From the early planning stages, through 3D printing, sanding, painting, and countless adjustments, this project has been a full journey. There were definitely easier phases, where everything came together naturally, and also more challenging moments, where things didn’t go as planned and required time, patience, and rework. But that’s part of the process, and what makes the final result even more satisfying. Piece by piece, the build took shape: the base, the case, the custom GPU, the printed elements, the paintwork… all coming together to create something cohesive. In the end, I’m extremely happy with how it turned out. I feel like the project really captures the dark, gritty, and brutal atmosphere of DOOM: The Dark Ages, both in terms of structure and overall aesthetic. A huge thank you to Thermaltake for the opportunity to be part of this competition, it’s been an incredible experience from start to finish. Thanks as well to all the other sponsors for providing the components and supporting the project. And of course, thanks to everyone who followed the worklog along the way. Make sure to keep following here and on my social channels, there’s more coming soon, including a full cinematic video of the build that I can’t wait to share with you! Sa Mod Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 This is it. After taking you through every stage of the build, it’s time to show the project from a different perspective, not as a worklog, but as a complete vision. This cinematic video brings together all the elements of the mod: shapes, materials, lighting, and details, capturing the atmosphere I had in mind from the very beginning. The goal was never just to build a PC, but to create something that feels forged in a dark, brutal world, inspired by DOOM: The Dark Ages. A mix of structure and environment, where every part belongs to the same scene. It’s been a process made of experiments, adjustments, and constant refinement, and this video is the final result of that journey. Huge thanks to Thermaltake for making this possible. And thanks to all the sponsors who supported the project along the way. If you’ve been following since the first update, thank you. LiquidHaus 1 Quote

Sa Mod Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Worklog Final – Full Build Video After the reveal, I also wanted to share a more complete look at the build, focusing not only on the final result but also on some of the key stages that bring everything together. In this video, you can see parts of the actual assembly process, including: SSD installation RGB setup using Thermaltake RGB Plus Filling the custom liquid cooling loop Final assembly and system power-on The goal was to show the transition from a finished mod to a fully working system, where design and functionality finally meet. This project has been a long journey, combining custom fabrication, painting, and hardware integration into a single build inspired by the world of DOOM: The Dark Ages. Thanks again to Thermaltake for the opportunity, and to all the sponsors for supporting the project! Hope you guys like the finished results! LiquidHaus 1 Quote
