First of all, I wish all participants good luck.

As a Greek PC Enthusiast, I really liked the project by Americans John and Ellie and I voted for them. This isn't a national competition, pc modifiers are competing.

However, I saw some very strange things in a Facebook technology group where the members were mostly Greek.

(Content is in Greek, but I will translate it)

(Translation: "As a Greek community, we support every effort especially that of OverChilled 🥰 Since the voting for the Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational 2026 has begun, let’s give our own hype to our own people!

👉🏼The process is simple:
Just sign up on Thermaltake’s website, go to the list of participants, and vote."

This isn't for me. Because it's not a national competition, it's just computer modders competing amongst themselves. But even though I find it wrong, I can understand those who view this as a national event.

However, the comments on the post are interesting.

I saw a Greek group member share their opinion in the comments of this post:

(Translation: "It is much better (by sharing a picture of the French participant's project)"
In response to this comment: "Beauty is relative. Supporting a Greek effort requires awareness.")

The company organizing the competition is a Taiwanese company. Other companies supporting this competition are American and Taiwanese companies. It's not a national competition.

As computer enthusiasts, I believe it's wrong to support a participants because they are from our own nationality. We should support whoever we like.

Otherwise, winner will not be the participant who produces a good project, but the participant whose country has the largest population.

Anyway

Another oddity is that the Greek participant's (OverChilled) partner responded with a "haha" to a comment supporting the French participant.

So I don't find it consistent that a participant in the Thermaltake community forum, who wished everyone "good luck" in the comments, would then mock other participants' projects in this way.

I hope the winner is someone who is respectful of the other participants and has produced a good project.
