Tack
What gpu do you have Have you uninstalled the rgb software and tried a fresh install. If so and it is still not working try uninstalling it and deleting the tt folder at C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Roaming\Tt then install the TT rgb software
davidbgtx
I have a Asus Geforce GTX 1060 gpu. I tried what you said, still didn't work. Then I uninstalled and deleted the tt folder as you said, and installed Ring TT Premium Edition Version 1.02. This version does display on screen but isn't connecting to the fans. davidbgtx
The 1.0.2 is the version I used and it worked with the old motherboard.
davidbgtx
Used micro usb cable to usb port on back of computer (not motherboard) as others suggested and it works. Is this the only/best solution?
davidbgtx
Most importantly is it safe for the fans/controller to be plugged in on back usb port and not the motherboard?

Tack
MMm You might want to try the latest software as the version you are using is quite old. Your running v1.0.2 the link below is for v2.1.5 its the latest version I could find. Not completely familiar with the non-plus riing fans. https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/db/support/software/RiingRGBTTPremiumEdition_Setup.zip ThermalMike

The link from tack is good
