Quickliquid
My Water 3 Pro fan y jack has 4 pin on one of the outputs and only three on the other is that a problem? If so, where can I get a replacement?
ThermalMike
Hello, The Y cable is there so you can connect both fans and only have to use 1 fan header off the motherboard instead of 2. Should be no problem. Check the manual here for full details and let us know if you need anything else! http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Cooler/Liquid_Cooler_/All_in_One/C_00002064/Water_3_0_Pro/Support.htm Enjoy the cooler! Tt Shannon
Hi, The reason you have a single pin missing from one of the fans is that is a RPM sense pin and the motherboard cannot reference two different fan speeds on a single header so the RPM sense pin only references from one fan as primary but still sends (Pin 4) PWM signal to the fan to actively control the fan speed for both fans while the other two are power and ground. This ensure optimum feedback and equally matched fan speed for your cooler.
