ThaForbidden
Hi everyone, I recently upgraded the RGB software to v1.2.6, however, when it starts, it causes my HDD to 'disconnect'. This was learned after a few hours of troubleshooting (even did a fresh install of windows lolz). It even disappears from computer management. If I don't start the RGB software, the drive never 'disconnects'. I can always see the drive being recognized by the motherboard in the BIOS. Also, if I start the software and then try to shutdown my computer, it never actually shuts down... It seems to get 'stuck' with the RGB lights still on and then after about 15 minutes will automatically boot back up again. Neither of the two issues mentioned have happened since I have uninstalled the RGB v1.2.6 software. Is there anyway around this or do I need to wait for a software version update? Below are my computer specs, CPU: Intel - Core i7-7820X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Thermaltake - Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition 42.34 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: ASRock - X299 Taichi ATX LGA2066 Motherboard Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB FTW3 HYBRID GAMING Video Card Case: Thermaltake - View 31 TG ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply Other: Thermaltake CL-F054-PL12SW-A Riing Plus 12 LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition (5 Fan Pack) Also, since the new install of windows, I have lost the settings for the fans. Can anyone point me to where I might be able to download an older version of the software? Whatever version that was out during February of 2018 never gave me an issue. Thanks! Aalsen
So i've ran in some issues with my hdd's lately, and one of them crashed and another one makes obnoxious sound every 2 seconds. It was sent back, nothing was found, the Toshiba X300 still made the annoying sound. Again, no processes running on the hdd, the HDD also made this sound when it's formatted, and only when the pc was fully booted up in Win10. (see vid) I reinstalled windows at some point, and without the TT RGB Plus Software there was no ominous sound coming from the hdd, so i was pretty happy and everything. Just now i've installed the TT RGB Plus Software, it started again! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8Yzd8xas1Q CPU: Intel - Core i7-7800k CPU Cooler: Thermaltake - Floe Riing RGB 280 Motherboard: ASRock - MSI Z370 Gaming Plus Memory: Corsair - Vengeance RGB 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Intel 600p 512GB Storage: Toshiba X300 8TB (noisy) Storage: Seagate Desktop HDD, 2TB (died recently, ran for years without problems) Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio 10G Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D Power Supply: Corsair RM850x
