oagaskell Posted February 11, 2019 Report Posted February 11, 2019 I have recently bought the V200 TG RGB case which comes with 3 RGB and 1 non-RGB 120mm fans, and I would like to be able to control the fans speed. The included controller has no way of doing this, but my motherboard has spare fan connectors, and I wanted to know if there was any way I could control the fan speed with my motherboard. I have a MSI B450 Gaming Plus MB. Quote
miked510 Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 I'm curious about your question. Did anyone answer you? Quote
Dunnyd Posted October 24, 2019 Report Posted October 24, 2019 They don't seem to answer any questions about this, I think that's the answer unfortunately, shocking service, not even advice on a workaround Quote
ApexPrime13 Posted May 10, 2020 Report Posted May 10, 2020 Hey you ever figure this out? I was able to rig the back fan and got it to be controllable with SYSfan3 header, but still no luck on the front 3. I'm doing my last round of searching before I have to purchase 3 new fans and a controller. Quote
Zagdima Posted May 11, 2020 Report Posted May 11, 2020 You need to connect fans to motherboard if they 12volts. And use any software. I dont know about MSI boards but f.e. Asus have AIsuite which can controll speed of fans connected to motherboard. Use MSI software Dragon Center. It shpuld be able to controll speed of your fans if they conected to MB. ANd you can controll them from bios. READ Manual. Quote
GoOnYahGoodThing Posted August 25, 2020 Report Posted August 25, 2020 Hi, Do you mean you disconnect the fans from the controller board and connect them directly to fan connectors on the motherboard yeah? Thanks PJ Quote
