Samsung Galaxy Core Prime is produced in several models including SM-G360G. SM-G360G model is especially known as Samsung Galaxy Core Prime G360G for Taiwan. 

Rooting  Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Using CF-Auto-Root 

First, you need to check the device model number, build number and Android version of your device as you need to download the correct CF-Auto-Root package on your PC to launch the rooting process. Check the Build number, model number and Android version of your device following Settings >About phone. After getting that information, you can download the correct root package from the official CF-Auto-Root website.

How To Root Android Using CF-Auto-Root 


Note: Get a complete backup of your smartphone before rooting your smartphone

  • Download and Install  Samsung USB Drivers on your PC
  • Go to Settings >About Phone > Build Number and tap it on 7 times to enable "Developer Options"
  • Next, Go to Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging and Enable it
  • Extract the downloaded CF-Auto-Root package a
  • In the extracted folder, you will be able to find  Odin application and other important files
  • Right-click on the Odin programe and run the programe as "Administrator"
  • Now, boot your device in to "Download Mode" pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power Buttons
  • Then, connect your device to the PC and wait until Odin detects your device
  • Click on "AP/PDA" button on Odin and load the Auto-Root-####-####-####.tar.md5 file using default file browser menu
  • Wait until the files is loaded and click "Start" button to root your Android


The whole process may take about several minutes and you will see Red Android bot on your Android while rooting process is done.
