cpitts661
Hello, I am looking at buying the Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus 750W 80+ Gold or Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB 750W 80+ Gold power supply from my new build. I noticed that the RGB header is 5V. I currently have the Asus Prime X390-A motherboard which has a 12v connector. Are either of theses power supplies compatible with this mother board or will the difference in voltage mess up either item? I also see they both come with a floppy adapter would the adapter fix the difference in voltage? Thank you, -Coley Pitts
TT0987
Hi Toughpower IRGB 750W and Toughpower GF1 ARGB 750W those two are only allowed to use the motherboards that have a 5V RGB header. Either change motherboard to have a 5V RGB header or choose Toughpower Grand RGB 750W Gold (RGB sync edition), which has a 12V RGB header. Check the links down below: https://www.thermaltake.com/thermaltake-toughpower-grand-rgb-750w-gold-rgb-sync-edition.html
