I would love to get a 144mhz monitor but i think it only comes in TN (correct me if im wrong) and i really like the viewing angles for IPS
I've not heard many good things about overclocking screens so I haven't tried. Good Ol' 60hz doing the trick for me for now! Would love to try a 120/144 but I know as soon as I do there will be no going back so holding off a bit lol
Well from 60 to 70 can i tell the extra 10fps? NOPE haha

Oh no, those things have to be organized. All behind the motherboard, just, don't look behind my motherboard.
hahaha u got me!
Actually its not that messy behind my motherboard though, just a minor birds nest in construction... but seriously, don't look behind my motherboard

Do you think efficiency is important for a power supply?
What kind of 80plus power supply do you currently use?
-
Just like the title says, has anyone had the chance to overclock the screen?
I herd its quite damaging to the screen but i'm running my 60hz monitor at 70hz so far so good
has anyone actually damaged the screen by overclocking?

Warloards of Draenor coming out today who's going to play?

I'm currently using a 100m connection
Wish it was faster but i think for gaming it relies more on server location and ping so i guess 100m is enough

Wow, new update for Heroes of the Storm!!

Wow thats crazy man... lucky you were near to turn it off quickly
I nearly had a electrical fire last year when i was mining, i had about 15 cards sucking power off a old power strip and the cord was tucked under a rug ( for cable management you know )... Anyway cord got warm the rug got burned, I was lucky to be close because i think any later the rug would have gone up in flames

Cleaning the dust of the PSU cables...
I set up my rig as pos pressure but when the filters get clogged it turns into neg pressure which happens within a matter of a week

As my CPU and motherboard was getting old. (Amd Phenom II x6 1055t and Asus motherboard) I chosen to upgrade them. I used to have fulltower cases before this case and well... It was fun to build but it was pain to build too because there was no room compared "normal" case.
This computer and case are still in work in progress but i was suggested to ask here about it if i need help and listen suggests from you.
I was planning to make some cooling improvements to this case later on. I still think i could better cooling to this computer.
So my specs are now:
Asus H97I-PLUS
Intel Core i5 4690k
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
G.skill 8gb 1333Mhz
Core V1 This you might guessed already.
Corsair Gold 80+ 650w full modular
I used old parts from my old computer and RAM, CPU cooler and some case mods are incoming still. I'm currently student so i wont be upgrading everything at once.
When i was installing this computer i had some issues with cables
I just did not get where i should put all my cables.
I could use some help from this part and I have my old 80mm Shark fans. Other is still waiting adapter because Motherboard does not support all installed at once.
So should i go 200mm full power all the time and put adapter from the PSU?
Oh and almost forgot. What CPU coolant i should go for in this layout? Max temp is only 60c' currently but i'm wanting littlebit more from the cooler than just having "low" temp. It keeps noise as stock easily.
Oh almost forgot. Does Thermaltake sell sidepanels only? I could want to get rid of that window and get better panel to top.
Work in progress parts:
New RAM
New CPU cooler
Installing case fans and getting better screws to them compared those rubber ones
Change some cables
Change cables locations
Buy some adapters.
As you see... List is still long.
Great build man!
btw In the 2nd picture is it me or is the fan blowing in from the back

I always use the Happy Face method. Depending on the happiness level of you face, this method is proven to be an effective way to reduce air gaps.

What application method do you use when applying thermal paste?
For me i use the pea method, just by putting a dot on the middle of my CPU (smaller than a pea though) and then use the pressure of the block to automatically spread it.
I have herd of other ways such as the line method, cross method and the spreading method. What floats your boat?

I would love to see a custom liquid cooled job with that titanium case, I didn't think it could be done because of the separate compartments. Maybe an external mounted cylinder reservoir , and some creative drilling....where to put the rads though....hmmmmmm.
Yeh it would have to be very creative, but i think it would be a fun project !

Well if only the EVGA GTX970 ftw is available here at our country then that would be a nice alternative... hmmm... imma think about it.
BTW. hope you can post a video on how to build a DIY liquid cooling on V1
Yeh it seems like the card dimensions are perfect with the EVGA FTW
