Wow you gave your friend that rig? can we be friends?

Spray painting was easy, it took about 24 hours (this includes the drying time
) :
- remove all the black parts (to remove the front locking mechanism you have to push out the axle)
- one layer of plastic primer
- 30 min of drying
- 2 layers of red paint (2 min drying time between them)
- 24 hours of drying
Changing the LEDs is a bit of a pain
mostly because you have to drill out the old LEDs (cant get them out because of the glue used by Thermaltake, note to them: use some hot glue next time
), the hole operation took about 2-3 hours.
Nice man! i'm loving your build, i will 1 day follow in your footsteps to change the LED's but might have to find some time for that

Wow CyberDracula, that red theme looks actually very cool!
Did it take long to do?

Thats a crazy build mate! i love it!
it cost you 22k AUD to build? #### that's crazy!

Hi Silky, i actually posted a tool on the forums where you can check how much power your components suck out of the wall
the tool can be found on this thread
in all honestly i recommend something a little higher than what the calculator says, also gives you more room for future upgrades
Do you have any pics you can share with us on the build so far?

Me too, cant wait to see this build

haha, i wish i had a picture of my ghetto mod, i wrapped my PSU cords with black tape back in the day.
I actually think your implementation RE Spartan is quite cool

The rig of 1000 truths aka Slayer of no life

I bought a motherboard one time that did not support SLI but only crossfire, serves me right for not researching before my purchase
That motherboard still sits in my room collecting dust

AIO Liquid cooler due to how much it would cost to do a full custom loop.
That's true! one of my main reasons too!!
Just the GPU block alone can set u back more than a hundred bucks
then you have the pump, res, and all that!
But tbh it looks very nice, but i just don't justify the money spent for a couple of deg... i think its more aesthetics .. if i had the money i would defiantly go full DIY though

We spent a few hundred hours over a couple months to get it done! most of it was done over about 3 weekends.
Rod
Wow, that's very cool!

When i look for a new case, i would say the first thing that comes into my mind would be exterior look. I like my cases to be simple but stylish!
Second would be how protected it is from dust. Where i'm from the dust is quite crazy, and without any kind of dust protection the radiators and fans can get clogged up within a week or so.

Magnetic fan filters are great!
without them, my chassis would be a vacuum cleaner...
-
I love how it can be opened up like that! awesome mod! must have taken a long time to build

Silence optimized builds anyone?
