Dani3l
Here are some tips for fixing LAN printer connectivity errors in Windows: Check that the printer is turned on and connected to the network. Make sure cables are securely plugged in at both the printer and router/switch. Print a network configuration page on the printer and check that it has a valid IP address on your network subnet. If not, you may need to set a static IP or renew its lease. Check that Windows Firewall or your third party firewall is not blocking access to the printer. You may need to create exceptions to allow port access. Verify that the print spooler service is running on the Windows machine. Restart it if needed. Clear any stalled or stuck print jobs. Open printers and fax, right click the printer, and choose "see what's printing". Cancel any stuck jobs. Delete and reinstall the printer drivers completely. Obtain updated drivers from the manufacturer if possible. Use the "ping" command to check connectivity to the printer's IP address. If no response, there is a network issue. Check that the correct TCP/IP port is added in the printer properties. Set to standard TCP/IP if unsure. Test with a direct network connection to isolate router/switch issues. Use a crossover cable if testing port to port. Doing thorough network and printer troubleshooting and testing connectivity step-by-step can help resolve most LAN printing problems.
