Ninjawebby
Hi, I have done a recent water cooled build using Thermaltake Riing RGB fans, which are all working as expected. However, the CPU RGB waterblock, which is on a separate controller is playing up. I set it to the other LED colours, which happens to be Cyan, however, when i load a game or after a while it flicks between Cyan and Green, then stays green for a bit longer, back to Cyan and then mostly green. Is this a connection issue or software. The controller is 4pin not the more up to date 9 pin. Im plugged into a 4 pin fan port on motherboard for power. Can you get a cable to convert the 4pin to the new 9pin and then i can change the controller as i have a few spare? Appreciate any advice on this one! Ninjawebby
found the issue i have the W4 RGB and not the W4 RGB Plus, so its the older 4 pin connector. Is it possible to get a conversion cable 4 pin to 9 pin? SO i can connect to the RGB plus controllers?
Ninjawebby
Fixed! You have to have the molex cable plugged in as the PWM cable messes the power up.
