  1. If you open the fan controller and find the 78M05 5v regulator its probably faulty i had the same thing happen to me this can be replaced if your any good at soldering and you can find the part on amazon or ebay very cheaply
  2. just received my case yesterday and spent the whole day building my system transfering out of my old case into my view 71 i love the case but had a dead fan controller out of the box. at first i thought i was doing somthing wrong IE plugging it in wrong ont the motherboard some setting in the bios but after a couple of hours. i decided to open the dam controller and see what was going on . i work in electronics for a living so got out my meter and started checking the voltages turned out the 78M05 12v to 5v regulator was dead luckily for me i found a really old sound card wth the same regulator so swapped it out and its all ok . just pretty disapointed that thermaltake would ship the case with a clearly untested controller . im wondering if anyone else has had this fault
