  1. So when I play my games at a low resolution, my power supply seems to be fine. When I bump my resolution up to 2560x1440 my power supply gets raging hot and it sounds like a jet engine. What gives? Surely this isn't normal. I'm actually afraid to run the power supply like this. any help or information would be greatly appreciated. PC build Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi AMD Ryzen 2600x MSI GTX 1660x Gamer Windows 10 Home Edit: My power supply is facing up, blowing into my case.
