BUMP -- The software has been updated a few times since posting here, I've been in contact via several emails with support staff, I'm still having the exact same problems.

Just installed version 1.5.3, have communicated previously several times with tech support. Still having EXACTLY the same problem.
Cheers.
Posted March 16Level 20 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
I am having the exact same problem- driving me crazy
Recently sent this to technical support:
When using iTake software (v1.5.0) to customize RGB lighting on keyboard, it does not remember any STATIC, CUSTOMIZED ZONES settings for any PROFILE. The lighting is always reset next time iTake runs (if I close and re-run, or when Windows reboots). This lighting is reset to NONE (the keyboard is black with no lighting).Note: It remembers STATIC, SINGLE zone light settings, and other PULSE, WAVE, FLOW etc. etc. but NOT when I customize on a per key basis.
I've cleared AppData folder and reinstalled many times.

I FIXED IT!....
There is a utility with ASUS motherboards called "Armoury Crate". I uninstalled this (you must google "Armoury Crate uninstall tool" to fully uninstall it). Also, it can be enabled in your BIOS! and you need to turn it off.
When I uninstalled it, it fixed several issues on my PC.
