This controller came with the TherkmalTake View71 RGB. There is a cable already attached to the controller however it states, "to attach the controller cable to the mainboard and controller". If you must attach a cable to the controller, then what is the cable already attached to the controller for? I also understand that you must download software for this controller, is that true and if so, where do you get it? I'm going to attach a pic of the controller.

I bought the View 71 RGB, I believe it's the "+" model but I can't remember what was on the box. Anyway, this thing has a box with, I'm guessing, a controller with 3 5pin connectors which I'm guessing is for the fans. It would have been nice if TT would have given instructions on how to hook this thing up. It would be great if somebody could help me with this and while I was reading in the posts, it mentions downloading software?. Would greatly appreciate anyone's help on this. Am attaching a pic of the controller?

I bought a Thermaltake View 71 RGB and inside I found a box, from what I've been reading, it's supposed to be a fan controller, I guess. It would have been nice if TT had included instructions on how to use this. I know it has a 4 pin connector as well as a connector which is empty which is 5 pin. How do you hook this thing up? Is the 5 pin connector necessary? Does the 4 pin connector attach to the motherboard on one of the fan headers? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance. I've attached a pi so you can see what I'm talking about.

I just received an email reply that I had generated on the Thermaltake site. My request was if there was any way the ON (start switch) on the Thermaltake V71, full tower, could be replaced and if so, could they send me the part number, also one of the front USB 3.0 ports is not working and again, for the pert number. Their reply is that their parts are down and could not help. I there anywhere other than Thermaltake I can get these parts, if possible outside of buying a new tower?

I own a Z71 and am having trouble with the ON (Start) button and a 3.0 port. One of the 3.0 ports works and the other doesn't. I understand you can replace the ON (Start) switch but not sure of the 3.0 port. There was one thread where an individual got him in touch with the Admin staff and he was nice enough to send him a new start switch, but not sure of the 3.0 port. Any suggestions?
